When you reported on behalf of the tenants the boiler had failed on Saturday 8th May you were aware the boiler was scheduled to be replaced on Wednesday 12th May. We spoke with the plumber and he was unable to replace the boiler any sooner. He also told us there was nothing he could do temporarily to get the boiler up and running due to it being an electrical fault inside the boiler, which you understood. We offered the electric heaters on collection and the tenant confirmed she did not need them as she would be borrowing heaters from her friend until the planned boiler replacement. If this was not the case we could have tried to arrange an alternative but with the information we were given we believed the tenants did not need our heaters. If the tenant was unable to borrow the heaters from her friend she could have called our out of hours line (which all tenants are told about when they move in) or contacted the office on Monday 10th May.
