Seems strange every 5 star review has only a single review in their history. Almost as if the account was made for this purpose alone... CJ hole has 'managed' two student properties I have lived in now. I'm sad to say the response time to emergencies, correspondance, communication within the company, and the records made of the issues we were having, has consistently been terrible. Despite the extended time needed to 'clean' the property, both houses have had rubbish/debri from the clean left in the back garden. In this house, we flagged this immediatly on entry and its taken over a month and a half to have it sorted. The worst part is that there was NO RECORD of this complaint on their systems. I have no idea how they have 15 years of experience, when despite the lovely estate agents, the negligence and lack of accountability takes the spotlight above all else. You will call one of them with a complaint/issue, and then have to explain it again to someone else there a week later, like it was never even listened to in the first place. The 1 star is because the agents are actually lovely. But the management of the company and clients is an abomination. By all mean buy from them as I'm sure they're keen to make the commision. But never, ever rent from them. Tennants are not taken seriously.
So I tried to arrange a viewing, when I checked on the day of the viewing the website said unavailable.. So I tried to call to find out what was going on (and also emailed) I was hung up on multiple times and their staff were unhelpful to say the least. In my opinion If they can't arrange a simple viewing then they won't be able to manage their properties correctly.
My partner has been trying to book a viewing for a property to let, but has been consistently messed about by this company. We booked a viewing for a property, but were told that they couldn’t book us in for 2 weeks, despite the property being listed on letting sites such as Right I’ve. We were then told that we would have to share the it with another group also wishing to view it, as the company had not properly allocated time or resources to showing groups around individually. This clearly would cause some tension and isn’t the ideal situation for viewing a property. Then today when we were supposed to go and view it, we realised that we had been booked onto another property instead, one that we had no desire to go and see. My partner called up to enquire about this and was told the property we wanted to see had already been let. This is entirely unacceptable and a petty way to run a business. My partner said that she felt patronised by a lady there she was corresponding with. Definitely do not recommend until the business has some semblance of organisation and trustworthiness, because at the minute it just feels like we were being completely messed about.
These reviews must surely be fake.Isnt it odd that all the other estate agents in Bristol put together have less than a quarter the number of reviews than this company, AND they are all 5 star? We used them to manage and let our property and they are a total disaster. They give bad advice. They use a whole network of dodgy builders, roofers, electricians, handymen, decorators, Plumber’s, flooring specialists who they probably get huge backhanders from and who massively overcharge to fix things. They couldn’t organise a p@@@ up in a brewery. I wouldn’t touch them with a barge pole if you have a choice!

It seems as though the company's process is to make every interaction as long as it can be so that customers give up. I am still waiting on a deposit from a property that I moved out of in July. The response rate for any queries to the deposit is a joke. Perhaps I will get a response this way? Poor, poor service
In their defence, they were always polite and responded quickly when contacted. However, it is undeniable that they rip off students to maximise their profits at every opportunity... Viewed the property and then they cut off half our garden when we moved in for 'maintenance' but didn't touch it all year. The house was messy and in poor condition when we moved in. Tried to keep the majority of our deposit for damage that was there before we even moved in. The list goes on but I haven't got the time, WOULDN'T RECOMMEND!
