The shower broke the day I was going into hospital for a hip replacement . I messaged Marie on the Friday. She was really brilliant, and rather than wait for the landlord chased them Explained my situation and how much I needed the shower and just got it sorted. She managed my expectations and said it would be Monday at the earliest. Pete came out on the Tuesday . I explained to Marie the door was open I couldn’t get up and was in bed but the door was open. She rang him to make sure there was no stress, he got on with it and knowing I was in no state to clean or check the work left it perfect like no one had been there. I couldn’t even check it was working until I had a visitor. Then Marie checked and made sure I was ok. Pete then stuck his head around the door to give some empathy (his dad had had the same operation) before leaving. All in all absolutely flawless job by maintenance team , Marie in particular, and Peter. The human face of landlords recognising my poor health and responding appropriately. We moved to a property early March 2025, with the help of Lewis who was quick, ready to help, and effective with the paperwork and renting process. We also requested a few small repairs in the property and, with the help of Katie and Marie, everything got sorted rapidly. We are very happy with Whitegates as they are fast to respond and manage the requests from the tenants.
