Trust me, choose Belvoir. I made the mistake of choosing a big brand like Carsons who quite frankly are awful. The provide zero customer service and little updates - I did all the chasing. In fact I felt like when I called them I was in the way of them doing other things. Here's the kicker... despite not choosing Belvoir to sell my house I did buy one from them. Matthew Smith (Basingstoke branch) still updated me and every time he knew more than Carsons, you know the people selling my house!!! Thanks Belvoir for filling Carsons void in my sell and making my buying experience fantastic . Upon collecting my keys I was greeted and made to feel welcome, trust me this company (Belvoir) is all about customer service and making the experience better - they gave me a lovely house warming gift with lots of goodies to help my first day. Seriously, choose them. Don't make my mistake and be sucked in by big brands like Carsons who's manager visited me (nice guy) but then never to be seen again and handed me over to miserable sods who quite frankly don't care. Had I chosen Belvoir the guy who sold it to me would have seen it through from start to finish. So that's a tip for you, if you choose a company by the person ask if he will handle it from start to finish. Belvoir managed a property for my mother for several years and she said they were always helpful and efficicient. They did a great job, often going 'the extra mile' to help her as she got older. When the time came to sell the property, we wanted to sell through Belvoir because we felt they were in the best position to make the sale as smooth as possible for the tenants as well as us, the sellers. We cannot fault the service received from both lettings and sales. We were kept in the loop and any documentation required was quickly sorted. Belvoir clearly know their market and we would recommend them for both lettings and sales.

Unbelievably helpful and professional - would 100% recommend

Matt (the branch manager) has been incredibly helpful and professional during the process of buying our first house, and in our opinion has done a lot more than we really needed to in order to try and help us get things done in time. He has called 3rd parties to get quotes/times for works we were considering having done (which we were already doing ourselves), and he has been incredibly on the ball in terms of making sure nothing is forgotten and everything was on track. Overall Belvoir have been a massive help to us, and have made the experience of buying our first house as pleasant as can be expected (moving always brings it's fair share of problems!) We could not be happier with the service that we have received, and would not hesitate to recommend their services to anyone.

Only that I have left UK, my over 5 year relationship with Belvoir had to come to a soft closure. Belvoir Basingstoke is an absolute joy to work with and I have had an excellent experience for over 5 years. The staff is very helpful, professional yet friendly and are always there to assist. Whilst I do not know the entire team at Basingstoke, working with Jo Jones from the inventory section, Kate Shore and Laura Jones from the Admin section and Helen from the Maintenance department has been an absolute joyful experience. At no point has this team let me down when it comes to any issues / questions etc. I strongly recommend folks out there looking for properties or letting in Basingstoke to reach out to Belvoir. I was very happy with Belvoir throughout the whole process of selling my house. For me not having to show people around was great; they took off all of that responsibility off of my shoulders. They kept regular contact with me throughout, giving me updates following visits, through the sale etc., in fact they seemed to have a better handle on what was going on in the chain more than anyone else. All in all very professional. I would recommend them and use their services in future.

We weren't dead set on moving house, however we found our perfect home via Belvoir, Jamie took us round and we decided to put in an offer despite having not sold our place, our offer was accepted subject to selling our property within two weeks! - Jamie was great, we went on holiday and passed our keys to him to work his magic - on the 14th day we managed to sell our property and our offer was officially accepted. Despite the fact that the rest of the process took longer than expected, through no fault of Belvoir, Matt provided us with weekly updates from the acceptance of the offer through to exchange of contracts which was fantastic and kept us at ease!
