Biggest cowboys going. Very very shockingly poor customer service. Wouldn't rent anything off them. Only want to know you for the monthly rent, No support provided. Boiler feb 2024 was playing up and reported a year ago. Landlord came out and looked and showed how to repressurise it said it needed parts but can't touch it as not qualified to touch it, then never returned to repair it. They advised they would get a mate to come fix it, never turned up to perform repairs, estate agent came round to do a property inspection, taken photos, promised to have it fixed by winter. In March 2024 gas safety inspection come round, advised it needed parts as there was problems with it. November 2024 hot water failed, reported and still did nothing, then start of February 2025 boiler had a catastrophic failure missing water everywhere over the main electric fuse box within a metre of it. Managed to shut water off but took 3 days for landlord to provide 2 oil rad heaters and a blower which is costing £20 per day to take the chill off the rooms they are in. 2 weeks to get quotes then decided they was too expensive and now getting their mate to fit a boiler in March. Disgraceful. Then their is all the other problems they won't sort out like mould and dampness in all the 3 bedrooms 2 of which has children in. Front door of porch is rotting and starting to disintegrate. Kitchen ceiling has had a crack where the board is partly hanging down by a inch was like that when moved in. Back sliding doors are old aluminum frame ones from 1980s. Keeps falling off its runners and November 2023 landlord tried fixing it, broke the lock then bodged it with cheap push lock at top which keep coming loose then put a second lock on bottom as refused to sign contract while house was insecure. Carpets needed cleaning when moved and should of been replaced before allowing anyone to move in. So stay well clear of this cowboy outfit. Great for dodgy cheap arse landlords that only care about profit . Should be shut down really.

Be cautious with this estate agent. Our experience with them was extremely unprofessional. We were contracted by Sarah for an End of Tenancy cleaning job. Upon arrival, we discovered there was no electricity at the property, which was beyond our control. Despite this, we carried out what we could and issued our invoice accordingly. Unfortunately, Sarah never responded to our invoice or acknowledged our communication. When our cleaner returned the keys, she was met with the question, “Couldn’t you clean the bathrooms without electricity?” It felt as though they expected us to work without proper conditions or compensation. If you’re a contractor or in the market for a property, I would advise you to approach this estate agent with caution.​

Stay away from this Estate Agent - most unprofessional experience with an estate agency. We were assigned to an End of Tenancy cleaning job by Sarah which we attended to, to find out that there's no electricity in the property. This is of course out of our control and our invoice was still issued, and due to be paid. Sarah never came back to us regarding our invoice or even acknowledged our email. Terrible service! They don’t even answer the phone or ever call back after any messages left

Rented out my property using Northwood for nearly 3 years. The worst estate agent I have dealt with. Brian, the managing director, most incompetent person I have met in my life. Brian doesn't even know how to investigate into a serious matter raised but rather just makes stuff up and puts on an email. The admin staff i had to deal with during 3 years is an absolute joke. Made a formal complaint after issuing section 21 and they didn't even have the decency to address the complaint formally. After tenants left the property, over a period of 3 months had debt collection agency letters coming through. Terrible people and experience.

Stay clear of them! My property was handed back in an awful condition. Broken radiators, broken windows, broken post box, broken doors and all of the furniture had been stolen including the fridge freezer and washing machine. Fine, this can happen but Northwood are unwilling to repair or compensate me for the damage and now not responding to my emails. I'm left with a huge bill to fix my property. Have reported to the property ombudsman and the case is ongoing.NegativeResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism
