I no longer rent with Belvoir although have an 18+ month long claim with them which is still yet to be resolved despite numerous emails and calls. I feel like I have been penalised for being a good, honest tenant.
My experience as a landlord in dealing with BASILDON BELVOIR has been a nightmare. I have not come across inefficient and dishonest agent such these . Although I have taken off my business of this agent nearly six months ago, They have held on to the tenants deposit without giving any reason by the woman who handles account called Keely Taylor. My new agent has been and continuing effortlessly to try and retrieve the deposit of the tenant but unfortunately Keely Taylor ignores replying and does not give reason for refusing to release the deposit fund .I would never touch this agent with a barge pole.
I had a property managed by Keeley and her team and the service was awful. Was promised that problems would be sorted and never were. So glad I moved my property away to another agent that cared. Why be so dishonest? The inventory went missing and I had to pay for my property to be refurbished when the tenants wrecked it. I'm so angry!

I was promised the property I was moving in to would be cleaned, IT WASENT. every time I spoke to them they just fobbed me off. The girls that work there talk down to you. I was told to decorate, the day the I finished I was told I needed a guarantor all over again to renew my contract. Once I called them and gave £500 and I explained that I was sorry but the other £295 would be 9days late because my job had stopped, keeley (manager) was fine on the phone but as soon as she got off she emailed my guarantor saying if it's not paid by her they would take her to court. Ha ha none of what they is right. After they served my section21 they were still sending me letters asking me when I'll be in the office to renew the contract. Time and time again they got things WRONG!!. Rubbish customer service. Everytime I asked them who to complain to, I was told keeley was the director of the whole franchise. Lies lies lies I could go on and on... Iv still not had my deposit back.
The worst agency ever, every time when the rent is coming they call for the money but when is a problem with something like washing machine or something else, Says if you don't like you can move how such like that is possible when you are paying a lot of money so people stay away from Basildon branch
