An outstanding experience from start to finish with the guys at MAP. So much effort goes into helping the customer through every stage of buying and selling a house. My husband and I looked at more than three local estate agents in Cornwall before choosing MAP. We were unhappy with the terms that these agents insisted on and felt they were not prepared to adopt a reasonable approach. In addition, we felt some of their marketing knowledge had insufficient evidence to back it up. The transaction was complicated because of problems that emerged in the chain and the fact we were selling his mother's house as Deputies appointed by the Court of Protection; she had not completed a Power of Attorney before losing mental capacity. Consequently we needed a simultaneous exchange and completion. We live a considerable distance from the property and MAP helped us by checking on the property in many practical ways which meant we did not have to do an 11 to 12 hour round trip for these things. Andrew McKnight of MAP has been excellent and constantly chivied our counterparty, our solicitor and others. He kept us informed throughout of problems and progress. We felt the service was impeccable.

There is no finer bunch of friendly folk to share the stressful process of selling than those at MAP. This has been a long, at times painful journey for us thanks to late 'back word' and difficulties with a buyer accessing their promised mortgage. But all through the team at MAP have been at our side. In constant communication and dealing with issues not normally associated with the usual estate agency 'promise to it's client' charter. It was very much like a friend guiding us than the usual 'will get back to you' suit. Shame we don't intend moving again, as we will truly miss our friends at MAP
