⭐ 1 star — would give 0 if I could If there was an option for 0 stars, I wouldn’t hesitate to choose it Our experience with Williams & Goodwin while selling our house was absolutely disgraceful. The selling fees are extremely high for the level of service we received. From our experience, there was a complete lack of transparency and communication throughout the process, and we were left feeling that we had to do their job for them. Our experience with the Bangor branch was particularly disappointing. We found the customer service from the manager, Emily, to be extremely poor. On the phone, we felt that her attitude towards us as customers was rude and unhelpful, which only added to an already frustrating experience. We had **three people interested in viewing our house two of whom were private buyers we already knew, meaning we carried out those viewings ourselves Williams & Goodwin only carried out one viewing We then received three offers at exactly the same price. Rather than contacting the potential buyers and asking whether they wanted to improve their offers, we had to point this out to Williams & Goodwin ourselves Considering the fees we were paying, we expected them to be actively working to achieve the best possible price for our property We also tried to cancel the contract during the14 -day cooling off period because of our experience and make the sale privatelyWe were extremely disappointed with how this was handled and felt that our concerns were not listened to Overall, we are extremely unhappy with the service we received\. For the amount of money being charged, we expected a professional, proactive and transparent service\. Instead, we felt that very little was done to actually help us sell our home **Based on our personal experience, I would not recommend Williams & Goodwin to anyone looking to sell their property\. We will certainly be advising friends and family to consider other options. A thoroughly disappointing experience from start to finish
