Our experience with Manning Stainton (Moortown) was great, having rented with them for almost 5 years. The moving out process was seamless as well. We had different housing managers over the period, but having Teddy for the last few years was a great ending to our renting processes - always polite in his dealings with actions taken immediately when any issue is reported. Mervyn and Amy did a fantastic job helping us buy our dream house near Bampton. The property was a renovation project with lots of potential, and they supported us at every step. They helped us negotiate a fair price and communicated efficiently with the seller regarding various issues raised during multiple surveys. They also kept the sale on track while the grant of probate was pending. Agents were very accommodating with multiple visits from surveyors, tradespeople, and our architect—even helping to move items to the driveway before completion day. We would highly recommend them!
You couldn't ask for anything more from Mervyn and the team at Abbey Properties. Excellent communication, sage advice based on expert knowledge of the local market, and bags of experience with supporting any and all queries from sale to completion. When I reviewed them a few years ago, I said I wouldn't consider any other agent. When the need to move arose again, I stayed true to it and could not be happier that I did. Having worked with them for sale and purchase, I can confidently say they are the best estate agency I have dealt with by a country mile.
