We had Lewis and Catherine visit today for an initial valuation. They were both very approachable and friendly both before, and during the appointment. I had extensive questions and they were able to answer them all. It was clear from their presentation of comparison properties that they had clearly done their homework, but also they acknowledged there is a couple of things that make our home fairly unique, and therefore they factored these into our valuation. They gave us plenty of time to discuss our questions and we didn't feel rushed. Catherine also followed up very swiftly afterwards with some further information by email. I have no doubt that I could feel confident in instructing Lewis and Catherine when we are ready to make that decision. Thank you both. We really appreciated your time and thoughtfulness of approach. Let us introduce ourselves! We are Catherine & Lewis, a husband and wife team and your local EweMove personal estate agents. We currently live in Ashby-de-la-Zouch, with our ragdoll cat Monty, having previously lived in Church Gresley. We set up EweMove Ashby de la Zouch to bring a fresh take on Sales and Lettings agents to the area. We have previously used a number of agents in both buying and selling properties and always felt that the experience fell short. We own a portfolio of Rental Properties, which we self managed after previous poor experiences with letting agents. We want to make sure people feel valued and listened to in order to provide them with the best possible experience and make sure they achieve the best possible price for their home. Also, we want landlords and tenants to know that their Agent is trustworthy to look after their properties and homes as if they were our own. Catherine was a teacher for 10 years in Primary schools across Derbyshire and has recently trained to be an English as a Second Language tutor and transitioned to online learning. Lewis has 10 years of experience in the Financial Services Industry and has worked for a number of banks and building societies. More recently, he trained and became a fully qualified Mortgage and Protection Advisor. During our spare time, we enjoy going for long walks in the surrounding area, often popping into some of the great local pubs and bars, such as the Beeches, the White Hart, The Bulls Head and many more! Fun local trivia fact, The Bulls Head building dates back to 1598 during the reign of Queen Elizabeth I! Which you can see by the original timber frame walls, which are still intact. We love travelling and seeing new places. Catherine has travelled to Australia, America, and New Zealand, and together we have done an interrail around lots of cities in Italy. We also enjoy games, both board games and real-life escape rooms.
