I was very happy with the service provided by the staff, especially Sarah, at the ashby office. The sale of my property was professionally handled. However I felt that my property was greatly undervalued so I was eager to put a more realistic price on it. The staff were happy to go with this. The happy ending is that I got my full asking price.
It did take NF well over six months to sell our property, but in their defence, it was a bit of a unique property, not your bulk standard semi on an estate, and we had to drop our price by more than £10,000 which was a bit more than we expected. The staff there are very friendly, although occasionally I felt that information wasn't always promptly passed on and I had to keep asking what was happening. There was one occasion when NF failed to turn up for a viewing which they had arranged, which was rather annoying. But overall, I know that they did work hard in getting our property sold.
Sold after a few months, after 3 years trying to sell. Some of it's luck but the team is very committed and good communicators and recognised I'd had a horrible time up to then. Helped me accept a very low price! Don't recommend the conveyancers they are linked with - they made the last few weeks painful. Go somewhere else for that.
Only collected keys from them. Helpful and friendly.
The sale took 10 months. The house went on sale (three times), and each time, we received an offer within a couple of weeks. After each offer, NF seemed to go into reactive mode rather being proactive. It seemed that we had to phone before NF would check on any progress. On the third occasion, when we had started to get a second agent involved, an offer appeared within a week, we started to get regular feedback, and the sale was complete within 7 weeks.
Never got back to us about a viewing request through the website and then found Sold STC on website. Still not showing on the board at three property though. Poor.
