Horrible property management, and poor attitude towards tenants

I'm sorry to say that after one month of struggling with these people, as a new tenant I'm stuck with worse problems than the few I started with. First, their inventory check is completely unreliable and inaccurate. Second, they do not respond to any calls or emails unless you follow up at least ten times. Finally, I have had the misfortune to rent a property that is also managed by these people, and to start with I had a minor boiler setting issue, a broken dryer and two non-functioning lamps that went completely unnoticed during their "inventory check". During the first visit of the repairmen, for which the property manager provided a set of management keys, the house was left in a mess with dents and damages to the floor. After the first "repair", the broken dryer became a broken washer as well. After a month of follow-up through emails and calls, I am still struggling to get someone to respond to my requests. The landlord has also been billed for these supposed "repairs" without any verification or follow up. If I could go back in time, I would definitely not rent any property let or managed by these people

Abysmal customer service to tenants

We have been tenants in a property managed by Life Residential for 5 years. We have constantly had problems in getting any response from Life on any issues, having to follow up multiple times to get any action whatsoever. Often requests are left unanswered or ignored completely. Recently, I emailed three times regarding some issues (a couple of which have been outstanding for months) and called twice before getting any response - only then was I told they had a "serious IT issue" and lost emails from the last weeks. Appalling.

Chantel responds quickly and intelligently, prioritizing her work and her clients.

I have had very little luck with Life Residential. Other than Chantel, and before her Sam and Tommy, the quality of response has been shockingly poor. I have been called inept by one employee who let the place. There were no instructions given on moving in, very little information. Once the account changed for a new landlord, without my being informed. My payment of course bounced at that point, and wrong accusations. I like the flat, but would NEVER recommend Life Residential except to someone I loathe. Life Residential? zero stars. Chantel may go some of the way to redeem your reputation. And you need it!

Poor service

Charge high fees and lied about access to residents car parking areas - even gave keys to it and then when I got clamped didn't want anything to do with it.
