Well what can we say!! If we could give 10 stars we would! After a bad experience with another agent we decided to move over to Mortimers to let them handle the sale of our property, and what a different experience this was - from start to finish we were looked after nothing was too much! We were put un the capable hands of the lovely Waol Falconer who was just so helpful and professional all the way through chasing things up, always at the other end of the phone if needed and the sale was all completed within 6 weeks! We really can't recommend these guys enough!!

Having spoken to several estate agents initially, we were impressed by Mortimers due to their outstanding client oriented approach, we felt that we were not just a number and that we were actually important to the company, not just another house to sell which was the impression given by larger agents! Mortimers have just sold my parent’s home of 57 years. During this time my mother was hospitalised several times and nothing was too much trouble, from Matthew visiting her in her sheltered housetop email from Chloe asking about her health on a regular basis. Working with Chloe in particular has been a pleasure. She has called on a weekly basis along with emails to keep us informed of progress and has made the sale an easy transition for my mum. Her professionalism, work ethic and telephone manner is second to none and whenever she was asked to check on something it was done and fed back to us with some immediacy. Me and my partner have just bought a property with Mortimers we genuinely cannot recommend them enough. We’d actually gone for another property with another estate agents only to discover he was pushy and rude. So when we found our new home and spoke with Chloe we knew this was the place for us! She was incredibly helpful and didn’t mind my million questions, emails and calls (ha sorry!) and regularly updated us at the least on a weekly basis. She pushed both solicitors to keep moving and get things done in a timely manner without hesitation. She would call and be frustrated herself with any delays and dived head first into the whole process and telling me what happens next, when & why. The weekly phone calls were such a relief knowing that things were processing and if they stalled she soon hassled people as to why and to hurry up! I sold a property through Mortimer's it was a great experience from start to finish . The best part of this was Chloe - my sales negotiator. If you want someone to diligently follow up, communicate clearly and frequently - she is the one! She has been excellent in keeping all parties in sync and pushing solicitors for updates. she would email me updates and always return my calls instantly.. I couldn’t have asked for a better person to work with!

We've just completed the sale of my mother's house and Mortimers were the estate agents. We achieved a decent selling price which I was happy with and which was higher than advised by another local agent. However, the main reason for the 5° review is the quality of communication from the team in the Accrington office. James was my main point of contact. He was super helpful, nothing was too much trouble, he always stayed calm and always returned calls. These are qualities I value. He kept all parties informed of progress and kept things moving along. I had less contact with other members of the team but they were always up to speed as well which I thought was impressive. I'd recommend Mortimers.
