Good solid service that was easy to understand

As a first time buyer Breckon & Breckon were very good at turning a daunting task into a fun and easy to understand experience. All set backs were handled quickly and efficiently and there was always someone on the end of the phone to help out, They are a maintain a good servive throughout the entirely of the sale and have continued following completion.

Good friendly staff, very pleasant estate agent, I had a seamless moving in process and it was all down to the hard work of the team at Breckon & Breckon. I can't recommend them highly.

Purchased a property listed by Michael Anthony. Their recommendation for a conveyancer was poor and I wish I hadn’t used the one they recommended, also in hindsight as a FTB I’d have asked so many more questions about what the seller is leaving and why. Why they are pushing for a very rushed completion.

House Seller

A long and difficult sale process was enabled with tenacity by Eleanor James. An over ambitious targeted sale price was not achieved but nonetheless the eventual sale was successfully. All credit to Eleanor and the Abingdon Team for perseverance.

I had an extremely frustrating experience while attempting to purchase a probate property through Michael Anthony. The entire process was poorly managed, and their approach to selling probate properties needs serious improvement. Throughout the transaction, multiple members of staff were involved, leading to inconsistent communication and a lack of accountability. I had to chase them repeatedly for updates, only to be informed—after a full 12 months—that the probate had been rejected. This was a major disappointment, made worse by the fact that I was assured by the director that they would stay in touch. However, it has now been six months, and I have heard absolutely nothing. Not only did they fail to follow up, but they also made no effort to assist me in finding alternative properties or provide any form of support after the sale fell through. This level of service is unacceptable, and I would strongly urge them to reconsider how they handle probate sales and customer relations in general.

This is the worst letting agent I've ever encountered! They manipulate communication between the landlord and tenants, creating confusion. They intentionally lie to both parties, causing problems and deliberately harming the landlord's interests. They even allow tenants to prematurely terminate contracts without the landlord's consent. When we complained to their management team, it was utterly unhelpful. It appears that this behavior is part of Breckon & Breckon's company culture. We were left with no choice but to file a formal complaint with the property ombudsman, resulting in Breckon & Breckon being fined for their wrongdoing.

Wouldn’t let me view homes as apparently sold!! Why have them on rightmove?? Would not take my details as I have a house to sell , very dismissive and a couldn’t care less approach, clearly don’t need the customers

Waited 20 minutes at location. Agent was a no show without calling and after having confirmed this morning. Two other people were also waiting to view the same place while I was there.
