My boyfriend and I rented our first flat from Northwood with help from the lovely Juliet. Neither of us have rented before so we both felt very nervous especially due to lockdown restrictions. Over the past 3 years, we have had significant dealings with Northwood in multiple roles and throughout this time have been left thoroughly impressed with their service offering, and ability to handle our property while we moved and lived overseas. We initially engaged Northwood Aberdeen to take our property on as a Guaranteed Rental property, and they were absolutely fantastic for us - guiding us each step of the way on what was required for us to complete as first-time landlords, and helping us get our property in compliance. They swiftly found us good tenants while we were living overseas, and kept us informed of any issues in a prompt and timely manner. Fast forward two years, and we decided that the time had come to sell our property, and so we engaged Northwood Estate Agency with Laura Mearns, who personally oversaw our property listing, and successful sale. Although COVID delayed this a couple of months, the feedback and dedication from Northwood throughout was faultless. Being able to permanently leave the UK, and leave a property in the hands of someone else, requires a significant amount of trust, and confidence, but Northwood always left us feeling that our property was in their safe hands - and so it proved to be.
