SSSSSSTOOOOOPPPPPPPP! Don't go anywhere near this branch of Martin and Co. 6 times in 4 months they've handed out my keys without any mention of this to me. Strangers, trapesing around my home without my knowledge or consent. This is illegal and they don't care. Upon moving in to the flat that was promised to me by the snake-oil-salesman James, would be deep cleaned - Wasn't. Clothes in the wardrobe, sugar in the sugar tin, fousty teabags in the tea tin, beer lids under the fridge as well as Doritos and gummy worms in the middle of the kitchen floor, not under anything, right square in the middle of it - Not to mention they never throw anything away - I have years worth of odds-and-ends from previous tennants (Like a broken coffee machine shoved into the hallway cupboard, about 40 worn-out bedsheets in 3 seperate buckets in the bedroom). I look forward to the fight with them when they try and deduct a deep-clean from my deposit, even though me and my partner are leaving the hell hole in a nice condition than when we moved into it. They're crooks. Pure and simple. One star because you can't give no stars. The property isn't even registered in the Scottish Landlord Register - This is illegal.

Absolutely appalling service, very rude on the phone and can only manage to arrange viewings two/three weeks down the line?? Do they even want their flats to be let! Very disappointed as we liked several of their flats and wanted to arrange viewings but got absolutely no where with them and just wasted our time

Disgrace of a company - I had a flat which was managed by Martin & co aberdeen and any work that was needing done , they managed to get three Independent quotes , of which all were at least five times the cost of any other local companies. - claiming that they were real. Manager James was rude and not interested in anything but himself. Avoid

The Aberdeen branch of Martin & Co are absolutely awful. It’s difficult to say wether it’s the agency itself or just the people who have been employed at this particular branch. The process of moving in was painful as none of the staff could tell what supplier was used for the electricity. They bounced me between “Tennant Shop” and themselves. It was a bad sign that the staff in this branch didn’t know basic information about a flat they were renting out. The branch also sent out my personal number to someone who sent me a poorly written text asking if they could check the property to fit in two heaters. There was no official acknowledgment that this person was any part of Martin & Co and found it unacceptable that Martin & Co wouldn’t request this appointment themselves. They have also implied I have lost items and Dana fed the property however no one was competent enough to reference the original inventory. I strongly recommend avoiding this Martin & Co until they can employ the right people or at least do a better job at training them.

Always terrible service on the phone, flats look nice but often sterile, overpriced, samey decoration. With twelve days wait to view a house on offer (which is ridiculous!), just stick with the smaller agencies, private landlords or Aberdine Considine who can get you same/a couple of days wait for appointments. I wonder if the landlords who give them their properties know that they are missing out on rent or potential tenants because Martin & Co don't have the staff to do viewings. They never respond to online viewing bookings either.

Trying to get £140 off my £400 deposit for things I shouldn't have to pay for (resealing the shower which was molded before I moved in) Moved out on march 17th and I'm only hearing about this now. Took ages for any response. They had painted over the black mold in the bedroom to hide it so when I moved in two months later the whole back wall in my bedroom was black with mold. And the living room has a big patch of damp which I got told would get fixed (it never) Shouldn't of even been put up for rent as it was borderline not acceptable for living purposes. Do not go with Martin and co. Save yourself time and money
