Quick responses and always happy to answer questions, brilliant service especially as s first time buyer they were always pleasant and really useful with giving me the information I needed. Would recommend this estate agent to anyone. When going into the branch, has a lovely greeting and was clean and a super nice environment!

I had been badly let down by a local Marlborough Estate agent, who had had my mother's flat on their books for months, had only done a very small number of viewings, on which they had given me no feedback at all and then who - without discussion - suggested a massive price drop. I had met Ross Sutton, one of the partners from Richard James in another context and had been very impressed, so I thought I would give him a go. 'You mean you are moving to an agent without a presence on the high street', said the agent I had fired (who was then very difficult before letting go of the key). I liked Richard James from the beginning. Lots of viewings, good feedback after each one. Professional and up to date advice (e.g. on using Rightmove). The people working for Ross were also very good. I particularly liked the firm's good communication with me, representing their seller (my mum). In the end, we accepted an offer some way above the price recommended by Agent 1 (though in fairness still below what we had originally been hoping for, but that's the market for you!). Then their sales expediter was very good in getting me to do what I needed to do to exchange contracts on a timely basis. All very professional and good natured and a pleasure to do business with. I recommend them whole-heartedly!

Richard James have helped a few members of my family with house purchases in the Swindon area - in fact, I remember Richard James driving my father and I in his car to view the family home in which we spent many happy years - I was 7 years old at the time. It was fitting therefore, that the house my wife and I wanted to buy was a Richard James posting. There is a clear reason that Richard James do so well in the local area - and I believe it is largely due to the dedication and professionalism of their excellent staff. The purchase of our home (exchanged contracts yesterday) could not have gone smoother and the staff at Richard James were excellent from property viewings all the way up to exchange of contracts. I have nothing but praise for the entire team with a special mention to Callum Aslantepe who we first dealt with for viewings and sale negotiations and then a smooth transition over to Chelsea Parr who handled things after our offer was accepted. Both Callum and Chelsea were absolutely fantastic - always keeping me well informed on progress, always giving good advice - nothing was too much trouble for these 2 superstars.
