Our initial experience of renting a property through Ashtons was seamless. Alexander, from the St Albans branch, is an asset to the company. He has been both professional and very responsive throughout the process. Thank you for your hard work and assisting us so effectively! Edit - Since our contract was started with Ashtons in April 2021, we have had nothing but stress trying to get rental property issues remedied. We are currently on our third property manager from Ashtons. Over 6 weeks ago we reported rising damp, severely high levels of moisture in the property (water pooling in window frames etc.), and black mould in the bedroom. This issue still hasn't been dealt with, and Ashtons are not proactively chasing our landlord for a response or for action to be taken. We have even attended the branch to raise the issue and it is not being addressed to the required standard. Update - Ashtons have since been prompt when discussing property issues with us. We have been made aware that there were some understaffing issues. These have since been rectified, and Ashtons are back to providing a great service - so much so that we have been viewing new rental properties with them!

Curchod's Woking (Mark and his colleagues) were very helpful in helping to arrange a letting agreement for us recently. They were open to suggestions and although a few things delayed the contract, in the end everyone was very satisfied. The team has made a bit difference to a family's life. Mark and the team at Curchods were very friendly and did their utmost to smooth the purchase of my new property before the 30th June ending of stamp duty levy. They were positive and optimistic throughout, despite being very busy.
