This should be counted as an upper 5 star review. Within the chain, there was a combination of anxious people with crazy demands and people who could only act at a slow pace. Despite this all being covered by multiple agents, Alex in particular had the local knowledge and connections to keep the entire chain on course. I can say that without him, the whole thing would likely have fallen through and he worked really hard to keep this all going through to completion. Alex is a good example of why you need a great estate agent - would wholeheartedly recommend!

Having moved 6 times during the last 25yrs, we have a fair amount of experience in dealing with the various aspects of moving house. Our first 3 homes we sold through high street agents with the next sold privately and our last sold through an online agency, whilst carrying out all the viewings ourselves. Our experience with the high street was not great, hence the change of direction. When we decided to sell our current home, we initially tried a high street agent and an online agency, trying to keep the costs low, with very poor results. We finally decided to try a more upmarket high street agent, accepting the higher fees, in the expectation that they would provide a better selling experience, and chose Breckon & Breckon. From the moment John Bouwer came to appraise our house and explain to us what to expect from their service, we knew we had made the right choice. The marketing package created was first class with some fabulous photos by Georgia and a very interesting and detailed description of the property created by Julia. For the first time ever, we decided to let the agent carry out all the viewings, which worked extremely well with excellent communication and feedback before and after each viewing carried out by Alex, Madison and Sarah. Fortunately, we had two viewings which generated acceptable offers with Alex negotiating on our behalf to secure an offer of the full asking price. From accepting the offer, through to exchange of contracts, Alex has continued to provide an excellent service as a “go between” the various parties keeping us all up to date with effective communications. In summary, we are extremely pleased with the level of service received, particularly from Alex, and feel that achieving an asking price offer justified the higher fees incurred. We would have no hesitation in recommending Breckon & Breckon to others, but hope that we will never have the need to avail ourselves of the services again.

Alex and the whole team at Breckon & Breckon were absolutely wonderful in their efforts to sell my Mother's house. Unfortunately due to circumstances entirely outside their control, the sale did not proceed. However I cannot fault their efforts to find buyers and also to deal very kindly and thoughtfully with an elderly lady. Should the property be put up for sale in the future, I would definitely appoint them again.

Breckon and Breckon did a very professional job of selling my relatives' home, after they moved into care. B&B's advice was spot on from the start and Alex gave us real confidence that we were with an expert. We went with B&B despite higher estimates from another agent because we believed him. And his advice turned out to be right. The whole firm were proactive and responsive when we needed it. Not bad for a small business in a market town!

We have just completed on a new build with the help of Madison who has been brilliant throughout. We were on a tight schedule with the carpet fitters before completion, Madison bless her unlocked and locked the property over the Easter Weekend to allow the fitters in so we were ready to complete the following Wednesday. She was always available or responded quickly to any queries. Would not hesitate recommend her to anyone or use again in the future. Many thanks.
