I've been a landlord for nearly 20 years and have always used a letting agent to manage property. For the first few years my experience of letting agents was dire and I became very disillusioned with them . For example: rents weren't collected on time or chased, accounts were not properly done, maintenance was poorly done and overcharged. Thankfully, Belvoir Wigan started up and gave me assurances that they would not let me down, I was sceptical but signed up over 10 years ago. I had an amazing experience with Sarah and Camilla. They were very professional, always responding to my enquires from viewing to moving in and there was no delay of any sort, I collected my keys on the date they promised and even got a gift 🎁 and the apartment is very lovely, even more beautiful physically than in pictures. The sales process was kept very simple by Belvoir, from the initial valuation, photographs and online advertising they communicated with me at every step. The house sold within six days and Belvoir handled the negotiations, including a renegotiation after the buyer's survey, and obtained a satisfactory price.
