Appalling if they actually have to do anything, rather than just collect their fee every month. (If you ask nothing of them they're ok - hence the 2 stars). Various repairs outstanding, including 2 years for a bathroom light fitting fixing. They forgot to renew my tenancy for 8 months and then charged £120 for it to be renewed. Even then the dates on the tenancy agreement were wrong. Everyone can make mistakes, however Whitegates have an entirely different level of ineptitude. Considering the largely dreadful standards of private landlord lettings these still manage to be in the bottom tier. As soon as my agreement is up I will be leaving them. Would not recommend to anyone.

don't call them, they are very slow, they are not professional, I wanted to rent a commercial space from them, they placed me from one to another, emails sent so that I can see a commercial space with appointments in a few weeks, seriously? so much trouble to see a space with the potential to rent it and they did nothing
Tried calling on a Saturday afternoon, website says closes at 4, rang from 3pm and constantly cut off, lettings site said office closed?PositiveResponsiveness, Professionalism
Brilliant company. They sold my personal information after I got an email from them where I could get a ‘free online evaluation of my home.’ Stupidly I thought I’d have a look and put in my phone and email. I’ve since been getting on average 6 spam calls per day and a ton of spam emails. Thanks Whitegates. FYI the evaluation was way off (unsurprisingly)
