We worked with Beth, Jess, Chris and April. We had our interest on two properties advertised with James Richard. In terms of communication and providing information – I found all colleagues to be extremely helpful. They are flexible and will always do their best to find a suitable slot for both parties consultants and customer to attend viewings. Once we decided for the one property and the procedure was already in triggered, we let the solicitor deal with the documents. After 3 weeks I contacted Premier Solicitor Bedford to get an update where we stand. I had to find out that something was not correct. I found out from my solicitor that there is a delay on the Seller’s side. I didn’t know what to do and reached out to the Agency – they had the contacts of the Seller and reached out immediately. This had to happen two times as there was a dead dot in the communication Seller – Seller’s Solicitor – Buyer’s Solicitor. I was told by my solicitor it would take 6 weeks but whomever I spoke to they assured me it’s 6 months. Now I suppose why it takes so long – because buyers just wait to be contacted. They must be pro-active and enquire. I am so happy that the Agency chased the Seller and things got back on track (twice 😊). I learned a lesson – don’t just wait to hear from the solicitor but be an active member of the chain if you want the deal to close quickly. I truly appreciate all support I received by Richard James Agency. Without their active position we wouldn’t have completed so quickly. We were first-time buyers and absolutely unexperienced, so we required quite many explanations of the steps and Richard James consultants took the time to explain in an understandable language and give the guidelines. I had a brilliantly positive experience and would recommend the Agency forward. Thank you, guys, for all your input and professionalism.
