After good experience of buying property from this estate agent some 12 year ago we have also decided to sell it with them. Selling experience was not as great. Agent suggested to price the property 25 000 pounds less than what we have actualy sold it for at the end, after going with our own price. So we had to do their job of correctly pricing the property. Also we have asked not to put the property on market before our builder will be done with repairs and he did put it online. I bet we have lost many buyers that have seen the property in quite bad shape after our previous tenant. And then they charged us (o:

Dear Dusan, I am obviously disappointed to read your review and hear that you are unhappy with the service you have received, but I would take issue with some of the claims that you make. The property was actually sold at £8,000 above our recommended asking price not the £25,000 that you state. Furthermore, that figure was achieved some three months after the property was launched to the market as we were requested to quote a much higher figure than we recommended. The price was eventually achieved because of the hard work of our team and because of a rising market and shortage of stock. The sale price is also one of the highest achieved in the last 12 months for this style and size of property, so we are content that the best possible price was achieved at that time.

Angela was very kind and helpful where her manager is extremely rude person incase you don't wanted to insulted and bear a big loss refrain from dealing with proffitt and holt

Complete time wasters. Avoid them by any mean. They will require you to fill up several forms online, before even showing you the property. I completed the form for the main applicant and they returned asking filing up the forms for my partner and a 4 years old child.

We've had a very poor experience with this estate agent - we booked a viewing of a property with them however we were sent to the wrong address to disturb someone who had no idea we would be coming. After finally discovering the error, they could not get us in for the viewing of the correct property until another day, which meant we would have to make the fairly long journey to Watford again. They did not return our call despite promising to do so and it took a further 3 days to get any response from them over email. My advice is to go elsewhere - there are plenty of agents in Watford that provide a much better service!
