Sold quickly

We put our house up for sale with Wentworth''s based on a recommendation.. Adam and Oliver were a pleasure to deal with. I prefer to give my business to a local agent, rather than a chain. It proved to be the right choice as we got above our asking price and sold very quickly.

Excellent selling experience from start to finish

Being a little pressed for time I'll do this in bullet points: - I dealt with Oli and Adam at Wentworths and from start to finish they have been excellent and offered exactly what i want from an estate agent. - A friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and honest approach. - Realistic pricing.where some local agents were trying to charge substantially more for the same (or probably lesser) service. - Quick results (inside 4 days of going live I had had 8 viewings and an offer of the full asking price accepted). - Since then they have managed the process superbly, contacted me when there was need to but never bombarded me with calls or correspondence. - They always return my calls and don't mess me around. I'd recommend Wentworths to any local person, and if you chose not to use them i would likely question your intelligence.

Reassuring, honest and down to earth

Rebecca was honest with us when we started our house search, and eventually showed us the house we really wanted to buy. Our interactions with her were always lovely, despite the difficulty of decisions made that were not always in our favour. She reassured us when our purchase seemed to be taking a very long time and helped to fight our corner even though as purchasers we weren't paying her a fee. Thank you Rebecca for helping us move into our forever home.

I am writing this review to share my experience with Wentworth Estate Agents. I found a property listed on RightMove on 07/06/24 and promptly contacted Wentworth to arrange a viewing. Due to my work commitments as a doctor, I was only available to view the property on 13/06/24. On the morning of the 13th, I received a call from Wentworth Estate Agents, which I could not answer as I was busy with patients. Shortly after, I received a text message stating that my viewing for later that day had been cancelled. Surprised, I contacted them to understand what had happened. I was informed that they had received six offers from previous viewings and had decided to take the property off the market. I spoke with Andy and expressed my disappointment, explaining that I was one of the first people to book a viewing. He seemed neither concerned nor apologetic, stating that this was the vendor's decision. I expected more from a reputable company, but it became clear that they are more interested in making quick sales than acting transparently and fairly. They should have honoured all the scheduled viewings before accepting offers. I requested to speak with the managing director and was told by Andy that he would pass my message along. However, over two weeks later, I am yet to hear back. I strongly discourage anyone from doing business with Wentworth Estate Agents.

After promising us a property, we lost out to someone else, seemed like they used us to bump up the price.
