2nd time reaching out to Parkers within Reading and it's been shocking but I've changed my 2 star review to a 4 star review due to Alan personally reaching out to me today and was very apologetic about how I was treated and was really trying to help and explain more detail about the property we were really interested in... In the future, I will know to ask for Alan and unfortunately avoid James at all costs (maybe he was having a bad day)... I've had an awkward time with Parkers Tilehurst and tbh, they stepped up hence why I amended my review about them from 1 to a 4 star review and this is why I'm doing the same for Theale branch due to someone taking the extra step to please the customer even if it's just a courtesy call, that's a plus in my eyes. Alan was spot on and I wish I got through to him before creating my first review tbh as the review would of been different. Thanks Alan and maybe speak soonPositiveProfessionalism

We purchased a lovely 4 bed detached house in Aldermaston Wharf from Parkers in Theale. They were very easy to deal with and kept us updated regularly.

Don't open when they're supposed to, confirmed twice they open 830 and when turned up they were shut. Also shut Sunday but advertise they're open. 2 hour wasted round trip, no apology, they dont care. *now received a phone call with apology and advising website has been updated with correct times and head office will also now give out correct times

I sent an enquire in from Rightmove yesterday for a property in Woodcote. I was called at 6.09pm, super lovely girl on the phone took all my details and we arranged a viewing for 2.45pm today. I arrived at the property and nobody from the agency arrived. I called and they had no idea who I was or who had called me. I get that emails can be taken down wrong but you would have got a bounce back when sending the confirmation and you have me number from the enquiry to call and ask me for it again. No one contacted me to tell me they were not coming. I live 10 miles from the house I went to view and it completely wasted my time. Next time don't assume the person will not show up as you didn't send them details of the viewing. Poor form.

Avoid for rentals! I rent a property at James Butcher House in Theale which was mis-sold to me as being in good condition. In reality, the property has long-standing issues with water leaks that I have confirmed have been ongoing for some time. Rather than resolving these problems properly, the leaks appear to have been repeatedly covered up, with the property being re-let to new tenants without full disclosure of the risks. This has created an unsafe and unsuitable living environment. This lack of transparency and failure to provide a habitable property is unacceptable. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this estate agent.

Never answer emails regarding rental properties, this is the second time this has happened.. nature of my employment means I cannot call during normal hours..

Shocking letting agent filtering calls and making property inaccessible like if they own them. Fail to call back and don’t deliver upon their words.
