We are really pleased and grateful for having an opportunity of buying our first house through Richard. He is an amazing, kind, warm person, and a professional and passionate agent. He really understands the challenges we- the buyers, but also the sellers- need to deal with in the current market. To be honest, I really don't know when Richard finds his time to sleep, he has been always available, super responsive, friendly and full of understanding. Richard very quickly responded to our first viewing request, all went smoothly, staring from the email confirming our viewing, a phone call to double check we are still interested, till the moment we entered the property. We have been searching for a house to buy since October 2021 and we met many agents, but there is something special about Richard which makes you feel safe the moment you start interacting with him. What really impressed us was the time he has given us for the initial viewing, it was 30 minutes, not 15 like it usually happens with other agencies. Richard knew so much about the property we were interested in buying, about the vendors and their buying situation. Richard gave us time while viewing, so that we can "feel" the house, but he was also all the time ready to answer every question we might have had. Eventually, to make our story a little shorter, we managed to get our final offer accepted on this property. That is however not the end of the story.... after about 3 months we found out that the sellers decided not to sell, because they were unable to find a house in their dream location- Cornwall. What touches us till today is, it wasn't just us who were devastated, it was also Richard who took this situation very personally. He showed us so much care and support. What is incredible about Richard, he started searching properties for us to buy, all meeting our requirements, but even those- who were not being sold by his agency!!! How honest and amazing this is?! Richard has been sending us properties which were new to the market (also from other agents) at least once a week since then. I am simply speechless.... this is how Richard cares about his customers, people, everyone around him. I am so glad we could meet Richard, because it's a blessing and unfortunately a rare circumstance nowadays, that you meet people who respect you despite anything and everything, who support and understand you and who help without expecting anything in return. Richard has been really attentive from the minute we met him right to the end. This personal service is not something you get with other larger estate agent firms and it’s been invaluable. His down to earth approachable nature makes the whole process feel less daunting. He has helped answer all of our queries speedily, enabling the purchase to move forward as quickly as possible, and he’s gone over and above to help us to even get quotes for bits and pieces of work that needed doing on the house we were purchasing through his various contacts within the trade (as we had none!).
