I never thought I would leave this kind of review for an estate agent. Most people who have bought or sold a property in the past will know the whole thing can be extremely stressful. The staff at Hackney and Leigh worked incredibly hard through the inevitable difficulties that arise when selling a house . Alex gave us incredible support as did Gillian and Anne Marie ; they listened to our ideas and without doubt achieved the result we wanted. Their attention to detail was excellent and the professional standard confirmed that in our view we felt we had got what I paid for. We've been talking to Hackney & Leigh for over 6 months now, firstly about renting an apartment in Arnside (we live in Twickenham) and now that we are here, looking at properties for sale on their books. All the staff in the Arnside office have been really helpful and informative and have arranged numerous viewings for us (sometimes at very short notice) and are quick to update us on any new properties coming onto the market. Hackney & Leigh's sales & marketing literature is outstanding, and I have mentioned to them that their photography and walk through videos really are a 'cut above' the opposition, and now that they have an aerial drone and fully licensed operators, their photographs and video content are sure to be even more dynamic - showcasing clients properties to maximum advantage. Overall we were satisfied with our first experience of a house sale in 38 years . All the staff we dealt with at James Du Pavey were extremely polite, professional yet very friendly. Charlotte in particular we found to be excellent and very helpful. Moving house is always stressful yet we had support and despite a few hiccups - not caused by James Du Pavey - all ended well and we are now settled in our new home. Yes, I would recommend !

We have had a really great experience, from engaging with JDP to discuss our selling options, to having the valuation carried out, pictures taken and getting our house on the market. We have had regular and consistent communication and sold our home very quickly at a price we anticipated. 😀 …

Caroline was very helpful and kind enough to do the viewing on a Sunday, she didn't have some small information but has said she can find it anything for us. Didn't like the camera setup from the owners, bit sure if they were listening in and watching but that wasn't discussed with us prior and if we were being watched that's a breach of our privacy. This wasn't Caroline's fault and we can't be sure the camera's were active. In regards to the property it was nice but need some modernising and structural changes to make it work for us.

Things could be confusing at times but Lola kept in regular contact and kept me updated regularly
