On a friend's recommendation, I invested in a brand new buy-to-let property in Stoke. As I am abroad for much of the time, I needed an agent I could trust with a full management package. I duly selected a letting agent, but was frustrated when, after three months, a tenant had not been found. I phoned Cameron at Goodchilds and duly transferred the marketing of the property with them. You can imagine my astonishment when he phoned the following day to advise me that a tenant had been found. This set the tone for all my dealings with Rob and Cameron. They are professional, extremely knowledgeable regarding tenant/landlord legislation and, very importantly, keep me fully informed of any issues and the action required. They liaised with the builders on my behalf when there was a major problem at the property and ensured that this was dealt with. I recently visited the house as the tenants had moved out, and Rob, at very short notice, offered to meet me at the house. Needless to say, a new tenant was found almost immediately. To use the old cliche, nothing is too much trouble for them. I have worked with several letting agents in the past, and Goodchilds is definitely up there with the very best.
