I have been a client of Martin & Co (Staines) since the last quarter of 2011. The quality of the service I receive from them is always of the highest quality. The whole life cycle from finding a tenant, checking tenants in, performing on-site visits, checking tenants out, managing the cleaning, taking care of maintenance, arranging quotes for repairs, providing landlord advice, prompt statements etc. is of the utmost excellence. The previous ownership of Martin and Co. Staines was DREADFUL. Ignored maintenance requests, lack of communication, and inaction on emergency requests (I was without a boiler for more than two weeks and the malfunctioning issues plagued me for months beforehand) were par for the course. However, the new ownership of Doreen Rose on 1st May 2021 has turned EVERYTHING around. There is now clear, concise, and timely communication. Maintenance requests are acknowledged within an hour and applicable follow-ups happen by the end of the day. Doreen cares about her clients and is working hard to earn my trust and make me feel valued as a tenant — which I do! I’m really grateful for the change in management and am now happy to rent through Martin and Co.!

New management has changed everything!

I’ve been renting for Martin and Co. for over a year now. Prior to May 2021, communicating and working with the estate agents was a real challenge with emergency maintenance needs being unresolved for weeks, no communication, no follow up, having to send emails and make calls frequently in hopes of getting a reply, and lack of documentation. However, Doreen Rose took over ownership and management on 1st May 2021 and things have improved 100%! Communication is consistent, clear, and timely. Maintenance requests are acknowledged usually within an hour, and follow up/informative emails are sent by the end of the business day. Doreen obviously cares about giving her clients exceptional service and has been very conscientious and attentive, making me feel — for the first time — valued as a tenant. I’m now exceptionally happy to be renting through Martin and Co.!

I had a lovely experience with the Staines branch moving into my new flat. Everything was handled by Jolene who was incredibly professional and easy to talk to. She sorted everything out for me and was incredibly quick to respond to any questions I had. At all points she was very clear with the information she needed from me and was able to explain the process clearly. When it came moving day, we were actually running rather late, but Jolene was on hand to help and calm us down. She was kind enough to adjust her schedule substantially and meet us at the property to hand over the keys. I am incredibly grateful for all her help as she took all the stress out of moving at every stage. Wishing her all the best. She is a credit to the company.

Hannah was very thorough with her research of the local sales market and made the selling process easy helping us to ultimately sell our flat. She worked hard chasing solicitors etc to help us complete on time. Price was reasonable as well.
