I recently bought my first home through Fraser & Wheeler after a fairly roller-coaster search for a perfect, yet affordable, property in the Exeter area. I would highly recommend them as a friendly, efficient and responsive local estate agent. What I liked about them most was the way that they were quick to understand my needs and my budget as a first time buyer, and direct me towards a range of realistic properties, helping me narrow down my search. I found the estate agent who viewed properties with me initially to be a good listener, intuitive and definitely not pushy. It took me a while to find the right house, and I looked at many properties with a variety of different estate agents, but once I did spot 'the one' (which happened to be marketed by F&W) things happened very quickly, and I was delighted to complete my purchase in just 5 weeks from having had my offer accepted, in part due to using an excellent solicitor who was recommended to me by Fraser and Wheeler. This meant the whole process was smooth and stress-free. The whole time, Fraser and Wheeler were in regular contact by phone and email and were easy to get hold of, responding instantly if I had a question and keeping me informed and up-to-date with the process and passing on information from the seller. I found them to be highly professional yet friendly, honest and approachable, and felt that they treated me well as a buyer, which resulted in a pleasing outcome for both myself and the seller. It was a nice touch to receive some celebratory wine when I went to pick up the keys to my new home too. Thank-you to everyone at the Cowick Street branch of Fraser and Wheeler in Exeter, especially to Karen for dealing with my purchase from start to finish and for being in touch regularly throughout the whole process. Thanks also to Anita for showing me several properties previously, which was a useful part of my journey and helped me figure out what I was looking for. It is an emotionally tough and often gut-wrenching process buying and selling a home in this country, and often a game of chance as much as effort, but it makes a difference if you (as a buyer) are matched up well with a suitable seller who is as motivated as you are to make it happen. It also helps if the estate agent listens well to both the seller's and the buyer's needs and allows you time and space to come to the right decision. We had a fantastic experience with Fraser and Wheeler in Exeter. Staff in the office were excellent and great communicators. Mostly we dealt with Hannah Cox who was superb. This was our first move in 22 years and she helped us through the changes since our 1997 move! Marketing was excellent and they even popped back to take a couple more shots when we'd finished work in the garden. They brought a steady stream of potential buyers although it was the first viewers through the door who bought our house. 10/10 to F&W

We sold our house through Fraser and Wheeler and throughout the whole process they have been friendly, professional efficient and proactive. I specifically dealt with Amy throughout the journey and she always took the time to give updates weekly on the progress, she chased solicitors when things weren't progressing, and was great with our buyers.
