Just sold our property with Parkers - Would never use them again and would not recommend them. The communication early on was good, we had good communication regarding viewings. However, post offer acceptance and in the crucial part of the sale cycle, communication was very poor and they were incredibly hard to contact or speak to. We found them always unavailable, they never return calls and take all day to get back to you (if at all), so you end up wasting another day! They don't have a sales progressor, so when you are in the final and stressful part of the sale, it is incredibly frustrating that the agents are too busy to speak to you, or always "out of office". They definitely don't go above and beyond like the other estate agent we dealt with. We were the paying clients, yet it felt like everything was way too much hassle for them. They are an extremely disorganised business and do not have their clients best interests at heart. We were made to feel like they didn't care about our sale and we weren't a priority to anyone there. Your house will sell itself to the right person on Rightmove, I would strongly recommend going with an estate agent with a good sales progressor and communication throughout - Something Parkers very much lack!NegativeQuality, Value

Dear Amy I have now been able to discover what has happened and firstly accept my apologies on not knowing who you were originally. I can see that we sold your partners property in Shinfield and another agent sold your property in Emmer Green. I would like to confirm that the person who was dealing with the sale for your partner was let go by myself in September due to poor performance, there were several factors and properties involved in this decision but ultimately it was something we needed to act on and quickly. Your partners sale was one of those that we were not happy how things were being dealt with. As one of the owners of the Spencers Wood Office. I pride myself on ensuring that our team members do communicate with vendors and buyers alike and provide great service. I now understand from the notes here that you rang in looking for advice on your own Sale in Emmer Green and were told that we couldn’t assist. Whilst of course we had nothing to do with your personal sale we still should have been in a position to assist you where we could so please accept my apologies. Whilst I would have appreciated that you came direct to me with your grievances before your review so that I could have dealt with things sooner. I do understand how you were feeling . Please leave your review on google as I would like people to know that nobody is perfect and that any potential clients in the future understand how importantly I take our service to them. Unfortunately it is not possible to give zero stars.Amongst other things we were pressured into making an offer on a property. At the time our house was not even on the market yet. We didn't know at the time that no seller will usually accept any offer when your house is not even on the market, let alone a lower offer! There was clearly something wrong and being hidden from us. My experience is that this agent does not have your best interest at heart, just want a quick sale.

We are sorry that you feel this way. It is down to each vendors discretion whether they allow non proceedable buyers to view and offer on a property. We are legally bound to put forward all offers on a property and ultimately it is the vendor/homeowners choice as to accept or not. The buying process takes a long time to go through in England allowing purchasers and their solicitors to carry out plenty of due diligence before a transaction exchanges and then completes. We wish you had let us know this a couple of years ago when you purchased your and wish you all the best in the future

Warning to anybody looking to purchase property at Villa Place in Swallowfield! We wasted 8 months waiting for delusional vendors who lied to us about moving into a rental property (after we had already spent thousands on solicitors and a survey in good faith of this promise). They then proceeded 20k more 8 months later because they can’t actually afford the fantasy home they are looking for. Parkers seemed to happily support this unethical behaviour the whole time so would strongly advise to avoid this estate agents. This property is now on the market at 45k more than was originally accepted. Update: Just because it’s been re sold doesn’t meant it’s completed. Update 03/2022: property didn’t sell, still owned by the same people. Update 09/2023: still owned by the same people, property never sold

Dear Aaron, We are truly sorry that this purchase did not go through unfortunately circumstances change in many situations, We would question how you spent thousands? as the purchase /sale never really took off. Nobody can forsee changes in the market and it is fair to say that the market place has increased over the last 6 months. As Estate Agents we must take the instructions of the homeowners.
