Just sold our property with Parkers - Would never use them again and would not recommend them. The communication early on was good, we had good communication regarding viewings. However, post offer acceptance and in the crucial part of the sale cycle, communication was very poor and they were incredibly hard to contact or speak to. We found them always unavailable, they never return calls and take all day to get back to you (if at all), so you end up wasting another day! They don't have a sales progressor, so when you are in the final and stressful part of the sale, it is incredibly frustrating that the agents are too busy to speak to you, or always "out of office". They definitely don't go above and beyond like the other estate agent we dealt with. We were the paying clients, yet it felt like everything was way too much hassle for them. They are an extremely disorganised business and do not have their clients best interests at heart. We were made to feel like they didn't care about our sale and we weren't a priority to anyone there. Your house will sell itself to the right person on Rightmove, I would strongly recommend going with an estate agent with a good sales progressor and communication throughout - Something Parkers very much lack!NegativeQuality, Value
Unfortunately it is not possible to give zero stars.Amongst other things we were pressured into making an offer on a property. At the time our house was not even on the market yet. We didn't know at the time that no seller will usually accept any offer when your house is not even on the market, let alone a lower offer! There was clearly something wrong and being hidden from us. My experience is that this agent does not have your best interest at heart, just want a quick sale.
Warning to anybody looking to purchase property at Villa Place in Swallowfield! We wasted 8 months waiting for delusional vendors who lied to us about moving into a rental property (after we had already spent thousands on solicitors and a survey in good faith of this promise). They then proceeded 20k more 8 months later because they can’t actually afford the fantasy home they are looking for. Parkers seemed to happily support this unethical behaviour the whole time so would strongly advise to avoid this estate agents. This property is now on the market at 45k more than was originally accepted. Update: Just because it’s been re sold doesn’t meant it’s completed. Update 03/2022: property didn’t sell, still owned by the same people. Update 09/2023: still owned by the same people, property never sold
