Firstly the only experience that I have had with Martin & Co is the rental of one of their properties I have no connection with them other than this. What I have found is that they posses a quality that seems to be missing from many organisations in that they really do care about their customers. The staff have been thorough in all aspects and have left me feeling relaxed even though moving home is very stressful. I would have no hesitation recommending Martin and Co to anyone something which I would not do if I had any doubts about their customer service.

Definitely the best estate agents I've ever dealt with. Martin & Co handle every aspect of our rental property, leaving us with absolutely nothing to think or worry about. Best of all is that they put themselves in our position with every decision they make on our behalf. Highly recommended.

My family and I have rented a property where Martin & Co were the letting agents. Okay enough service during the process. Had an issue where incorrect information was given to a company - Notify.co.uk - regarding us moving out of the property very quickly after our Assured Shorthold Tenancy agreement started! The landlord could quite easily have misconstrued the situation. Managed to get it sorted but there needs to be more care with regards to third-party handling of information and ensuring that correct details are transmitted.

Avoid at all cost, hidden non public facing T&C that will undoubtedly lead to charges! To top it all off very evasive when questioned!

Thank you for your anonymous review, which is clearly untrue. We have zero hidden costs all our fees are on our website. You certainly aren't a landlord, and as it is illegal to charges tenants fees just shows how false this review is.

We had a terrible experience with the check-out process from Martin & Co Solihull. They tried to keep almost the entire deposit by fabricating issues and charging us for damages that were already present on the inventory from before we moved in. They made it so stressful and, after a lengthy back and forth, we did not receive our deposit until 7 months after checkout. Communication was terrible throughout. We provided photographs with date stamps and proof from the inventory that we did not cause the issues. They did not acknowledge any of this and continued to attempt to charge us. We had to use the Deposit Protection Scheme dispute service and eventually received our deposit back. We never received an apology from the letting agents.

We are sorry you have felt this way. Unfotunately we are under a legal obligation to follow the landlords instructions, even when we don't agree with them. If the landlord instructs us to seek a deduction against a deposit we would be breaking our obligations to the landlord. So sometimes we have to carry out instructions we don't agree with because the landlord has instructed us to do so. That is not our choice, but we can then choose whether we continue acting on behalf of that landlord and you will note that we didn't relet this property for the landlord...
