Brought back my faith in estate agents

I have used many estate agents and EVERYTIME it has always been a stressful process, so I was reluctant to rent my flat again until I met Josh from Outlet. He reassured me that they would look after me and that they certainly did. From finding tenants through to moving them in to finding new tenants REALLY QUICKLY when they old tenants moved out (this has happened twice and both times have been equally as quick), so it was only a very small period of time that my property was vacant in between. They were very meticulous with everything and if I had any issues they were straight on it and it was sorted. I stupidly doubted them once regarding my tenants saying they didn't double lock the front door as they weren't given keys and I had locked them out when I went to do a little bit of maintenance, I even sent josh a rather long stern email, which he replied very nicely with a photocopy of the keys the tenants had signed for! Lesson learned, so the tenants were given a huge telling off. Which brings me to one more point, I again stupidly didn't get outlet to manage it, which was a big mistake as its another bit of stress they can take away from you, the above I wouldn't have even known about or had to drive all the way back to the property to let them in along with a few other small, but time consuming situations. Outlet can manage all of that stress for you and in my experience it is extremely worth it! They also sold one my properties very quickly for me, which again was surprise surprise easy. So, I have used them as a "landlady" and a seller so I would recommend outlet for selling, buying and renting every day of the week over other money grabbing, less attentive agents.

A frustrating renting experience despite Theresa's kindness

Our experience of renting property was frustrating. Our moving in date was delayed from Wednesday to Friday and from Friday 3pm to 4pm, and it took us 8 days in total... We agreed to make the rental payment and sign the tenancy agreement on Friday afternoon. But, on Thursday evening, we were called by the agent and asked to make the payment. When we went to their office to make the payment, we found out that the hurry was because the transfer of the money took time and it might be delayed to Monday because of the weekend break.... We were delivered the keys to move in after making the 6-month rental payment and signing the contract; they sent us wishing a smooth process of moving in but when we went there the flat was not ready: The floor and carpet cleaning wasn't done because the walls and the doors weren't dry yet, the bed and the wardrobe were uninstalled (packed in the middle of the living room), and the smell of the painting was so strong that it wasn't healthy and even possible to stay in there. We finally moved in the next day, one day after the commencement day of the tenancy agreement, which was actually against the terms of the agreement... Having already waited for 8 days to move in after paying the deposit and the fees, we also couldn't understand why the painting was done one day before our move in date. We have been exposed to smelling chemicals since we moved in.... The mailbox key was absent in the keys delivered to us, and after making several phone calls, were were delivered the key after 5 days but we had to go to their office ourselves to receive it. Theresa kindly helped us solve our problems regarding the delays, and gave us the guidelines about moving in and info about the facility suppliers, etc. Overall, the
