Thought I'd put a review on here as most people only seem to leave negative comments. I have experienced the services from Staves Estate Agents both as a seller and as a potential buyer. The team were really professional, informative and patient as dealing with the property market is a very new thing to me. I was in regular contact with the team and kept up to date with any progress when my property was up for sale. I definitely recommend Staves Estate Agents to anyone. I think estate agents get a hard time when customers have unrealistic expectations when selling their property. I think some people expect to have 100s of viewings and/or have sold stc within a few days and get mad when that doesn't happen.

Always there on the end of the phone and quick to respond to queries in an efficient manner.

Pleased with their level of service. Luckily the agreed sale was quite straight forward once secured. A good team of staff at the Gleadless branch. As a family owned business I think you get better communication and team work than some of the multiples.

We went with Staves to sell our house based on a recommendation, the number of houses they had for sale in the area at that time (easily the highest) and impressions of Rob upon valuation. Initially my impressions of Staves wasn't the best. We had people turning up for viewings booked with Staves but, I was totally unaware of their arrivals and therefore the house sometimes wasn't ready / available to view. I also felt some of the photo's of our house were slightly 'odd' but in fairness, the house sold quickly with lots of viewings. Those issues aside, the service, knowledge, attention to detail level of contact and overall 'after sales experience' we received from Rob and Louis was excellent. Louis was regularly in contact with us, even if it was to say there was no update. Louis would regularly advise on how we could help push things forward or explain why something was held up. Would recommend Staves for anyone looking to sell their house in the Sheffield S8 and surrounding areas.

Been a great help in purchasing our home

Took about a month to get a sales board up, but after many messages. Steady performance throughout, although very helpful with probate from the sellers. After 4 months, I still have their sales board on my property, although I've messaged them many times to remove it. Probably wouldn't use again.

Never gave any updates and did not keep us informed
