I recently purchased a "But to Let" apartment through "Whitegates". I would like to thank the team for all their assistance through the purchase process, as well as after sales. Also the Lettings team for their speedy and efficient service in finding a tenant and dealing with a couple of minor issues at the property. I would highly recommend this Agent, both for sales and letting management.

I listed my property for sale with Whitegates. My initial inception was with a lady called Emma who was very professional. She told me that my property would be listed in both the Crewe and Nantwich offices which was a necessity from my perspective. I let them take my listing. The first time I phoned the Crewe office I was told that Emma had left. I was disappointed that no one had informed me she was leaving before I agreed to list with them. Fast forward a few months. I took it upon myself to decide that I may be having price resistance, so I reduced the price hoping to get some interest. At some point thereafter, a new Sales person was introduced to me, Sophie Cartwright who was totally professional and found me suitable prospects. A few weeks later I decided to go into their Nantwich branch and I didn’t say WHO I was but asked for information on my property details only to be told that they don’t have any details and that it was in the hands of their Crewe office. No info at all was available! I wasn’t even given the telephone number of the Crewe office let alone offered a print out of the property details from their computer. To say that I was disappointed is to say the least! I contacted the Manager at the Crewe office and he told me that that wasn’t good enough and he would be having words with the Nantwich people and he would get back to me. I haven’t heard anything back about the situation since. I’m very disappointed with that especially as Sophie Cartwright put in so much time and effort in getting interested parties to come and discuss sales with me. Unfortunately one of them was in a sales chain of their own where a buyer collapsed the chain by pulling out of a sale and the others property wasn’t sold yet.

Whitegates gates is using false advertisements, as they are advertised they sold my property to which is clearly not the case .. and I will be reporting to trading standards..the property in teal way was not sold by whitegates. They are just trying to get trade to which we will be reporting.

Incredibly rude woman constantly spoke over me to the point I could not speak a word! Rude, condescending and very unprofessional! What a way to treat people!

An enquiry for a property asking for offers over £250k was not followed up properly. I received a call which I missed so I called back and left my name and number and which property I was interested in, farrier court. Nobody called back. My property will be on the market for around £270k so my offer for farrier court would have been around that much. Almost a week after I called I get an email saying the property was now under offer. This lazy approach to enquiries means I will never sell a house with whitegates because they’re supposed to be trying to sell for the absolute best offer and if I found out enquiries had gone unanswered I would be bitterly disappointed. Thanks for a disappointing service, I’m just glad I’m not selling with whitegates.

Beware do not deal with these people, If I could give a 0 I would. Terrible company cost me a lot of money in the process as they couldn't do their job properly. Should be some sort of financial compensation or criminal procedings for letting estate agents get away with this behaviour. They said that a price was 100% agreed with the owners which wasn't true. They basically lied to me and then pushed me to pay for searches. I don't know if they were trying to get more comission out of the sale. I didn't even get a letter of apology due to their incompetence. So be warned, do not use this estate agent unless you want to be decieved and lose a lot of money.

Truely horrific experience, been trying to call since 9.15am to make a offer on a proper, Infact called 15 time .... Given up now , so good luck poor people trying to sell with these agents Complete rubbish 🗑

They gave me 45 minutes to get to a viewing from contact or the house would be sold. That is acting in neither the vendor's nor the purchaser's interest. List with someone who works for the vendor to get the best deal, and gives the purchaser a chance.NegativeResponsiveness, Professionalism
