Never have I felt my call was avoided, never have I felt I was a pain in the neck to you (even though I probably was!), never has anything been too much trouble and never have I regretted using you! I originally appointed a different local agent having had 5 quotes. Nick was the only one who just kept in touch - now and then - not intrusive in any way but just to let me know they were there if we changed our mind - and we did. Ashton's service has been honest, prompt and always courteous. In a chain of 6 Tracie was the only agent that actually worked tirelessly to secure exchange of contracts going above and beyond every day. Steady and calm throughout she was always ready to do whatever was needed to keep things moving. Our house is perhaps at the higher end of the Redbourn market and initial guidance from friends was to look at the "higher end" agencies but I honestly couldn't disagree more. Nick, Tracie and the whole office treated us like their only client - I've just heard they're simultaneously dealing with a very large number of other sales/exchanges. I would never have known - it felt like they only worked for me. Honestly - brilliant work guys. Thank you.

We had been trying to sell our bungalow for some time with another agent but didn’t seem to be getting a lot of interest. Ashton’s agreed to become a joint agent and things immediately began to lift off, with far more enquiries and viewings than with the other agent. Nick Robinson, our appointed customer link, kept us regularly informed both by emails and phone calls and was always ready with useful and intelligent advice. Despite our property being in immaculate condition and even with Nick’s guidance and all his efforts we still struggled to sell, even with a price reduction, as the property market had dipped at the time. We desperately needed to sell as we had a new home lined up in the South West – and the seller wasn’t going to wait forever! Nick suggested dropping our asking price still further, which we agreed to. Fortunately one of Ashton’s clients showed an interest. They had first viewed our bungalow some months previously but at the time decided against it. Nick tried very hard to get the best possible price for us and we finally agreed a compromise with the buyers (who were fortunately cash purchasers) and the transaction then moved forward reasonably quickly. We are now happily settled in our lovely new home in Dorset. Many thanks to Nick and his very able and professional team.

We had a great service from Ashtons in Redbourn - with everything from the initial meetings, the valuation, the photos, management of the viewings, selling our house at full asking price (in less than a week), and then keeping us up to date with everything on the purchase: Andrew Gibbons and Tracie Phillips were fantastic. We expected the process of selling and buying a house to be long and difficult but the whole experience from our point of view was easy and very quick. Highly recommended.

We have recently bought and sold through Ashton’s in Redbourn. Despite tricky market conditions Ashton’s helped us through and I can’t fault the service we received. Nick led on the sale and was really fantastic - following up every lead and even finding us a new buyer within 48 hours when our original buyer fell through so that our purchase wasn’t jeopardised . Tracie was also great - ‘hand-holding’ us through the deal and checking in with us afterwards to check all was well. I would recommend the team without reservation- they are really excellent at what they do!

I am taking the time to write this review because the team at Ashton's Redbourn were absolutely brilliant, in particular I must mention Nick Robinson and Tracie Phillips. Nick was very professional and clearly understood the market, the advice given to us was spot on and our property sold quickly. Tracie was equally as professional throughout the after sales process and despite some tricky situations in the chain she kept it all together, two great ambassadors of the company. Given our good our experience I recommended a friend to get in touch with Nick who has now also sold quickly and is equally as impressed.
