I rented an East Reading property through Parkers for 12 months. A friendly and helpful office where someone was always on hand to answer queries throughout my tenancy. I appreciate I am not the easiest customer at times and ask a lot of questions! Since Mark took over Woodley lettings, I have noticed the service has become more consultative too; people would take the time to call me to follow up email queries to chat everything through. I have been letting properties in Reading as a landlord for over 20 years and moved to Parkers a few years ago after being increasingly disillusioned with poor and unprofessional letting agents in Reading. To date Parkers have outshone the opposition by some margin and so far have not given me cause to complain. They seem to be much better organised than my previous letting agencies and I have had no disasters with them - which is a lot more than I can say with the others I used!

I initially used Parkers as a tenant when I first moved to Reading and I was impressed with their professionalism and fairness to tenants. When I was looking for an agent to manage a Buy-to-Let property a couple of years later they were the obvious choice. They are extremely professional and look after my property excellently. I only really deal with Mark Brooker, Sophie Green and Karen Pownall, who are all faultless and efficient.

Parkers were a very nice company to work with - they even let me view one property 3 different times without any complaint or pressure! Doug who showed me round a couple of properties was really nice - and very patient while I had a good look at everything! Damien who managed the purchase property was lovely to work with. He was very efficient and phoned me regularly with updates on how the purchase was progressing and he communicated with the agents in charge of my sale to ensure a coordinated moving date.

In trying to purchase a property I went to see a few estate agents. I have to say that Parkers shone above the rest. They went out of their way to accommodate you and did not pressure you into putting offers in. With the other estate agents I was shown properties that were already under offer, with the hope that I would put in a higher offer. Parkers did not do that, and when I put an offer in and it was accepted. They took the property off the search list. Throughout the purchase they kept me in the loop. Really friendly, professional and best of all they really care. You can see in how they treat you. Another thing that annoyed me with other estate agents, was their time keeping, 1pm does not mean 2:30pm. Again, parkers when they said they'd phone, they phoned at the allotted time, when they phoned even 5 minutes late they were very apologetic. I would definitely recommend using Parkers, they know how to sell houses and treat customers. if, and when I sell this property, Parkers will be my first choice.
