My mom sadly passed ... so i trusted Williams to sell her home as I live in Knutsford so didn't have a clue who to use.. anyway they valued the property at £250,000 them said 5 months later reduce so I knock down £30,000 still no joy.. completely useless company.. whatever you do use a more professional company in the area who know how to sell wasted 8 month .. completely useless Robert from Gronant *Response: to Williams estate agents reply As stated in my review . Josh has stated I didn't want certain viewings.. as they were aware id just buried my late mother , and there appointments were when I was dealing with my late mother's estate This estate agents is (by far) (the worst and expensive) BEST THING I DID WAS SACK THEM Since Im now using a professional service & is a lot less commission. as I stated I didn't know any better as not from the area But now I do .. so when reading this review and widlsh for a proper professional estate agents. contact me I will give you a proper professional company which is only 1% cheap commission. I was completely let. Down with ((Williams) whom didn't help when I was in a vulnerable situation losing my mother. Bad company 👎👎👎👎truely stunning horrific experience

I would strongly recommend to not rent a house through Williams estate agents. They take the side of the Landlord in all matters even when you are the 'ideal tenant' and pay your rent every month on time. Very slow to respond and follow up on maintenance & repairs. Waited months for a central heating fault to be repaired and was even left without water at the property for 3 days after an outside tap pipe burst. As for when you leave the property, don't expect this agent to act or advise impartially. They completely ignored the clear and obvious evidence that the Landlord was making a baseless claim against the holding deposit and instead pushed the dispute through the arbitration scheme. Thankfully the independent adjudicator found rightly in my favor but it still took 5 months to get my deposit back. Will never use this agent again.

Shocking service from this agent. We travelled down from Birmingham to have a market appraisal only to receive a phone call from the agent whilst he sat outside in the car refusing to enter the property due to another agent being there at the time. Williams Estates clearly didn't have confidence in themselves to sell themselves in order to gain another property on their books. Very disappointing and I would avoid this agent purely due to lack of motivation/confidence. On the other hand Peter Large Estate Agents who did enter the property were fantastic.
