Complete time wasters, only care about there fees and not the customer! Wasted 2 months and all kinds on legal fees. Steer clear from these if you want anything to go smooth!
DO NOT TRUST!!!! During the viewing , the agent assured us that everything in the property was in working order. He told us that they inspect the property before putting it up for sale and if anything is broken, the seller fixes it. During the purchase process, the sellers never provided us with any safety certificates (eg for electricity, water heater). After we got the keys (Saturday morning) we found out that there was no water in the property. We called the agency and asked why there was no water in the property, they told us to ask the neighbors! After wasting time looking for the cause, we found that the water was turned off mainly. We had to wait with our little one until Monday to be released by our local utility company. (whole weekend without water!) On Monday after the water was turned on we found ourselves with a leak from the first floor through the ground floor ceiling. Then we found out why the water was turned off. I assume that it was stopped so that potential buyers and surveyors would not find out about these serious defects in the property. The same day we arranged for a local engineer to check the boiler and it turned out that the heating boiler was damaged and needed to be replaced. (will cost £3000) I guess the agency knew about it all. Also they not help us in any way for a second review before the day of the contract exchange. I definitely do not recommend!
Awful experience. Zero communication and when we did call them, the information we received was incorrect. They admitted to us that the office was 'not performing' and 'dropping the ball'.. We revised the plan and proposed updates to the house listing details, which they only partially completed, INCORRECTLY. I called them this morning to remove the listing and to tell them we would use another agent. Their response? 'Ok'. They did not bother to ask why, or try and retain us as customers. Lazy, unprofessional and absolutely shocking service. Absolutely avoid.
Waited for a call regarding a property bad customer service
Struggled to book in a viewing as the staff wasn’t very helpful. Finally managed to book in for a week later only to be sent a cancellation email a couple of days before but with no reason and no option for another date. I replied to the email asking if there was a reason for the cancellation and if I could book for another day (no reply) I called several times the following day but they didn’t answer. I already had an offer in mind on the property I was going to view so it was just a formality. If anyone is thinking of selling a property with this agent I would advise to stay well clear.NegativeResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism
