What’s the point of making a reservation if we’re just seated at a corner table by the door, facing people constantly coming in and out? There were empty tables available. On top of that, we felt rushed to order, and the food was only … More

I’ve been coming here for about 15 years, and we came last night for my birthday because usually we have the best time with the best food. Unfortunately it seems the restaurant is a victim of its own success, because beyond the ambience of the UberEats buzzer going off every minute, the waitress we had was very ubrupt and inattentive, then gave us wrong orders, and worse of all she actually yawned at us when I asked for the dishes to be swapped to what we ordered. The food itself wasn’t good either, tasted fishy and some of it had started to dry on the edges of the fish. The only good thing was the squid rings and Gyozas. Staff were rushed and rude, and in the end we paid up for our starters and left. Such a shame as usually we love this place, but I left last night felt disappointing in every aspect of our visit.ServiceDine inMeal typeDinnerPrice per person£50–60Food: 3Service: 1Atmosphere: 4

Did not order main meal immediately when asked for drinks, but then was ignored despite repeatedly try to order. The staff later apologised but food served was wrong. The ramen was also instant noodle with instant broth, not what you expect at this price point. Expected a better experience base on the reviews, would not recommend the ramen.ServiceDine inMeal typeDinnerPrice per person£20–30Food: 2Service: 2Atmosphere: 4

Terrible communication, they take ages replying to emails which means we have to chase them up with phone calls which they then reply saying they'll call you back or to wait for an email which never comes. All of this just to answer simple questions which shouldn't take long to find an answer. Seems like they have no organisation and have no idea of what's going on as they fail to answer simple questions. Basically had to beg for our application to be sent in to a landlord and it still took over a day to get it done even with us urging them. The viewing was lovely and the person showing us around was really nice but the experience with communication was just terrible and unprofessional.

I came on a solo date to eat and enjoy myself. However, this turned out to be the most horrible dining experience I’ve ever had. When I arrived, I didn’t see anyone at the reception. I stood there waiting, and since it was my first time, I didn’t know what to do, so I sat down at an empty table. Instead of kindly explaining the process, the staff came and complained in a very rude way, which already made me feel uncomfortable. When my order arrived, they only brought the first dish. Then one staff member rushed me in an incredibly disrespectful tone, saying things like “You have to eat now, we have many people coming, hurry up.” She even raised her voice. And the worst part is the restaurant was almost empty. There were only three or four tables filled, and many empty seats all around. No one came in after me, so there was absolutely no reason to rush me like that. It didn’t stop there. The staff kept walking back and forth, watching me, checking if I was eating or if I had finished. I couldn’t even finish my last bite, I was still chewing when one of them came and asked if I wanted something else or the bill. At that point, I just gave up and asked for the bill. There was only one nice girl. She was the one who brought me the bill, and I asked for her name because I don’t want to say everyone there was horrible. Her name was Aisha? This experience completely ruined my evening. I would not recommend this restaurant if you care about being treated with basic respect.Food: 3Service: 1Atmosphere: 1

We put through an order for lunch for five people with separate orders via a delivery app. For some odd reason they packed/ dished everything together and it was difficult to hand out and it even looked as though things were missing. Most importantly though, they are not a safe restaurant for those who have allergies. I have a fish allergy and I've ordered chicken and veg sushi for years - this is the first time I have had an allergic reaction to chicken sushi where they obviously did not take the care they should have. Very disappointing and completely ruined my day.Dietary restrictionsNot good
