I recently utilised Breckon & Breckon's services for finding a flat in Oxford and worked directly with Annabel Barnes. I found her to be practical, efficient, and reliable. Her prompt responses and clear communication made the process straightforward. Moreover, her guidance on paperwork presentation was invaluable, simplifying what could have been a complex process.

Update 2: The washer died on me and it was replaced with a washer/dyer (so that solved the dryer situation). Moreover, the agency took precautions about the covid-19 before the government did, so that was good! Update: Overall I am happy with the experience with the agency. However my unit was advertised as having access to a dryer and parking but when I moved in there was access to neither. Maybe its specific to my unit but make sure the amenities advertised are actually provided. This agency is way more functional and friendly than my previous agency (NOPS). When I picked the key the person was very friendly, received me with a tea and explained everything in detail. They were kind to let me be inside of the building -after closing time- to wait for a cab. The flat was in good condition when I moved in. A couple of days after moving, they called me to check if everything was in good working order, which it was (It´s good I don´t have to chase them around and they actually call to see if things are good). Also they will be returning my application fees since now there is a fee ban. So far the experience has been great.

The property was rented during the uncertainties of the Pandemic period in Sep 2021, even so, Breckon was able to complete rental formalities within 8 days. Responses to maintenance issues were efficient and effective. Check out was made very smooth and easy. I would say one of the rare "trouble free' experience I have had with an Estate Agent.

Unusual for a buyer to recommend an estate agent but based on my recent experience of the Oxford based New Homes Team I felt it warranted some positive recognition and recommendation. They helped me as a buyer secure and exchange on my new Oxford apartment in less than six weeks from initial viewing and I’m now keenly awaiting successful legal completion. A special note of thanks to Matt, who I now understand is the newest member of the team which was not obvious from the level of service provided at first and second viewings and his handling of the submission and initial progression of my offer. He was a credit to the New Homes Team and certainly got my purchase off to a great start; before Mel, Lucy and Joe helped ensure we met the agreed offer exchange timetable. The Team kept all parties involved updated with progress and flagged any issues and required action. They ensured a smooth process throughout by timely monitoring, action and follow up, especially evident when lead team members’ were absent on leave or simply unavailable. Such absences didn’t adversely impact progress as all the team members were obviously suitably briefed and managed so promptly helped with emails and calls, or escalated if required, to get matters addressed and progressed quickly regardless of a specific team member’s availability. An impressive team effort indeed and based on my recent positive experience I’d happily recommend them as an agent you’d enjoy and appreciate dealing with whether you’re buying or selling.
