terrible customer service for landlords

I gave my house to this estate agents and had constant problems with both the attitude of the estate agents and with the quality of tenants they provided. They take no responsibility for the apalling tenants they provided me or the damage that occurred to my property. They tried to blame the quality of my house as to why I had poor non rent paying tenants who damaged my house incurring cleaning damage of 250 pounds as well as a large hole in my wall, poor maintenance of a brand new hob they caimed to be my fault after I paid a cleaner recommended by them.. siince using this agency, I am £6000 pounds out of pocket. I strongly urge landlords to think twice before giving these incompetent, rude, thieving people who claim to pride themselves on good quality houses, I carried out all the work they advised me to carry out, spending 6000 pounds on people that they recommended, and I can honestly say that my house looks worse than it did before I allowed them to charge me. It is the audacity that they claim my house is poor quality after I carried out work they suggested, using there peopke that sickens me. Also when I tried to change estate zgents, they became very petty, refusing the new estate agents the keys. When the new estate agent went in and looked at my house,, the comments she made was tgat the property did not appear to be clean, infact she said it was filthy, so where has my 250 pounds gone for so calked cleaning.

I am sorry to hear how you feel about the service you have received and I would have replied sooner however I have only just stumbled across your review on this site. I have to add that I am totally dumfounded by your allegations and feel that I need to provide the truth. I was going to respond to every individual point of your review however I feel this attached letter does that job for me and I would welcome anyone to read the letter and make their own judgement.. We had you as a landlord for a very short time and yes, the tenant did start to withhold their rent, after their frustrations, in the very short term they lived at the property, in the end they vacated the property due to the issues as detailed in the letter. You agreed to have some work done after the council intervened, however it wasn’t to the recommended standard as you tried to cut costs.. I can assure you we had no issues handing over the keys to another agent. Carters Estate Agents thrive to provide a good service to all our clients, landlords and tenants, buyers and sellers. We understand that communication between all parties is a pivotal part of our success but it has to be a 2 way thing. We take all our feedback very seriously however this review was totally unjust.
