very unprofessional..I agreed to rent a house and they said they will call me next week when I have to move. 4 months have passed and no one has called me. Now I am homeless.

They are just agents for ripping off tenants for landlords, repairs and problems ignored had to unblock drains 3 times and had to wait 6 weeks for a shower repair. Prospective tenants beware .......NegativeResponsiveness, Quality, Value

Extremely unprofessional during a national pandemic!! Belvoir have been appointed to manage a property we have just moved out of by our ex landlord. When carrying out an inspection on the property they have taken it upon themselves (James the actuall manager) to move items around the house including towels! With no protection or warning for ourselves (my wife being pregnant so is in the high risk category) I Spoke to a lady on the phone that was very understanding but when james himself called back was adamant he was at no fault for putting my wife at any danger. I have spoken to several other agents and they all agree this is unforgivable. Considering James is the manager of this branch I would expect him to act in a more professional matter.

In light of Covid-19 we take property visits very seriously and adhere to the strict government guidelines regarding hygiene and social distancing recommendations . We of course don't want to put ourselves at risk as well. This appointment was arranged directly with your now previous landlord and yourselves, at no point were we made aware that your wife was pregnant. She allowed us both entry to the property and sat in the rear garden at all times during the visit. Given that your wife is pregnant I was surprised to now find out that the visit was allowed to go ahead in the first place given the circumstances. Wish I could give less! We put £270 application fees forward and a £200 holding deposit too. Failed a credit check due to circumstances out of my control, weren't told about a possible guarantor needed if a failed credit check was to take place, were told that the holding deposit will be refunded or knocked off rent for the first month and now been denied all refunds and have lost out on almost 500 pounds. Will never use these again.

Dear Ben Many thanks for your email. Our application form, which you have duly signed to agree to its terms and conditions, clearly illustrates Belvoir's position on credit history. It is written to protect both yourself and the landlord. For yourself to prevent you getting in further financial difficulty and the landlord to protect their asset. We have to compensate the landlord as the property had been taken off the market pending your checks, in which time someone else could have applied for the property. We're sorry you feel this way but we do ask all relevant questions before you commit to taking the property so you are fully aware of all procedures.
