Two very different experiences - one good, one bad. I first worked with Northwood to sell a house in 2022/3 and found them to be professional, responsive and helpful. On the basis of that experience I would have given 5 stars so I turned to them to sell another property in 2024. This was a strange and very different experience. Staff were still OK face to face but otherwise unprofessional, not returning a valuation as agreed, not calling, not replying to emails, just not communicating. Very odd I thought. Maybe they did not want the business which is their prerogative but the conduct around that caused unnecessary delays and was not handled in a professional manner. If you use Northwood and get the good you will be fine, but if you start getting hints of the bad I would think carefully. Three stars represents what I think is a fair balance of the two experiences.

Recently moved into a property with Northwood, they were great at the viewing and Lydnsey has been been great at communicating about some issues we've had, which Northwood are working to resolve, would definetly recommend. Edit: Northwood are no longer our landlords and I wouldn't wish them on anyone from experience, the issues that were being 'worked on' on never got fixed. A shambles of a company to be brutally honest. The 2 stars are for the decent rental price alone.
Booked a valuation & after arranging date & time they cancelled hours before to say valuer was poorly & they would re-arrange.3 weeks later still waiting.What a shamble of an excuse for ineffiency.Apparently customers are a nuisance it would seem, go elsewhere, not recommended.Update & now 6 weeks later still waiting for courtesy of a valuation, perhaps valuer is still poorly ah diddums! What a shambles.
We wanted to view the properties on offer in the window but if you cannot be bothered to clean the copious amounts of smashed glass outside your premise to allow customers to do so, we took our business elsewhere!
They 43rd party let properties that have major issues and expect new tenants to deal with.Our new tenants couldn't find the front access to the property 75.00to alter address.Trees running up the side of garden are touching 12ft high,takes it 2ft of a public pathway. All reported to correct authorities
Terrible customer service. Decline potential buyers a viewing before knowing all the facts. You should ask the right questions first. They blame everyone else and do not return calls so the only correspondence you get is emails. Waste of time and we will never use this agency. Too many issues before even starting the buying process.
Wouldn't ever rent from them again. They don't fix any repairs they are rude on the phone! Had a leaking ceiling for 4 years worst company going ever!!!!
