One of the worst agencies I’ve dealt with. I would not recommend Ewemove Estate Agent in Finchley to anyone looking to rent, buy, or sell a property. After I finished my tenancy, they raised issues that simply didn’t exist, seemingly just to satisfy the landlord and justify keeping my deposit. The whole process felt dishonest and unfair. Dealing with this team was extremely stressful, especially Khilan. No matter what, they make you feel like you’re always in the wrong, even when you’ve taken good care of the property. In the end, you’re made to feel powerless and risk losing your entire deposit. If you’re looking for a smooth, transparent, and professional experience, I strongly advise you to avoid this agency. Never renew or continue a tenancy with them, and don’t risk losing your hard-earned money.

Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry that you feel dissatisfied; however, we feel it is important to clarify the facts of this matter. The tenancy was ended without the required notice being provided, and this was clearly explained at the time. Following check-out, the property was not returned in a similar condition to that recorded at the start of the tenancy, which resulted in deductions being proposed in line with the tenancy agreement. As managing agents, we act on behalf of the landlord and are required to follow the correct procedures. All deductions and the process were fully explained to you, and your deposit was protected with the DPS. Where disputes arise, the DPS makes an independent decision. If the adjudicator finds in favour of the landlord, this is not a decision made by ourselves. We always aim to be transparent and fair, and we regret that this experience has been stressful for you. Should you wish to discuss the matter further, we would encourage you to contact us directly rather than via a public forum.

Absolutely appalling behavior of Mr Khilan Shah when requested on numerous occasions to simply instruct a plumber to investigate and repair a water ingress leak causing significant damage to a flat below. …

Khilan Shah is supposed show me a rental property in Peterborough. Contacted this company and arrange a viewing. Got a viewing confirmation which is 2 days later. 30 mins before the the viewing, this guy kept saying that i enquired about the property twice, so he needed to cancel the viewing… what a joke… He even implied that this is my fault and did not even apologise for last minute cancellation. On the phone, This guy sounds extremely rude, unprofessional in many ways. This is only a rental property, God knows what happens when it comes to selling or buying a property…. Such a pain in the bum.. if you are a landlord having a property to let with them Please AVOID AT ALL COST…. If you are a tenant about to view or rent a property with them, you will be greeted with blame and unprofessionalism. You can read other reviews on google about this guy. He never acknowledges their mistakes and always tries to blame on everyone. This guy is a joke to Ewemove Answer to your reply: he messaged me to confirm the viewing at 12PM on Saturday 25/01/2025. i replied back “Ok”. (Proof attached) He still went on this review and LIED that I did not confirm the viewing. He is truly dishonest estate agent. For the property I was about to view, it means you are a dishonest landlord too. So lucky that I dont have you as my landlord.

I'm really sorry to hear about your experience. It sounds like there was a misunderstanding, and I apologise for any inconvenience this caused. We strive to provide a professional and courteous service to all our clients, and it's clear we fell short in this instance. To clarify, we always text our viewers the day before to confirm they are still attending. In this case, we did not receive a response. We also texted and called on the morning of the viewing to confirm, but unfortunately, there was still no confirmation. I see you have also added a photo of a message I sent to you on Thursday with the viewing for Saturday. Shame you didn't add the entire screenshots showing 4 other messages from me asking for confirmation of the viewing. These messages were on Friday and the Saturday of the viewing itself. Regarding the advice to other landlords, it's important to note that I am actually the landlord for this property, so it was in my best interest to carry out the viewing. To add this property is now let agreed to one of the viewings we had on the Saturday. As for reading our other reviews, you are correct that they are all 5-star apart from this and one other, which should not have been left as it has nothing to do with EweMove. We value your input and are committed to improving our service. Thank you for bringing this to our attention, and I hope we can resolve this to your satisfaction. Finally if anyone reading this reply does actually want to see the entire screenshot of the messages, I am happy to share it. I will of course not pass on any of Ngoc's personal information (as in his phone number - even though his screenshot shows my number).

About 4 or 5 months ago, I looked for 2 bedroom flat in York way at Whetstone. I was happy pay straight away deposit and rent and agent told me to wait as other people looking as well, it should be really first come, first serve chance first. After he didnt let me know if I get flat or not, I waited and waited. After I texted him and he replied that flat is gone without giving me explanation. Such an discrimination when single parent looking for rent, and they give to someone else without giving a reason!NegativeResponsiveness, Professionalism

At Ewemove we are very transparent with our landlords and discuss each application with them. The landlord makes the final decision as to who they would like to live in their property.
