I’m pleased to hear that you felt our marketing of the property was strong, as this is often the key driver of interest from prospective purchasers. That said, I’m sorry to learn that you felt we weren’t proactive, as that is certainly not the experience we aim to provide, as a family run business our reputation is highly important to us. From our records, we initially suggested an adjustment to the marketing price in May and continued to provide updates throughout the process, including a detailed lettings valuation on 2nd September at your request. With regard to the meter readings, this is typically the responsibility of the buyer and seller, as the utility contracts are held directly with them rather than the selling agent. However, I do appreciate that this may have been particularly important given your distance from the property, and I apologise if you feel we fell short in this area. Considering the nature of the market and the location of the property, I believe the team worked hard to progress matters from the agreed sale date in early October through to completion in January. Many properties within the development have remained unsold for over 12 months, so achieving completion within this timeframe was a positive outcome. I wish you all the very best for the future.
