Hard to contact
Kind, helpful and efficient staff who where very accommodating throughout the process. Only caveat would be that as a first time buyer there where times when it seemed unclear as to what was happening and I felt that I had to call to get updates more often than I should have. More contact from Michael Poole's either via email or call would have been more beneficial to myself. I do appreciate however the multiple clients they must be juggling. Overall very happy with the service provided.
Don’t expect your deposit back, had to fight with them to get my deposit back.
Website keeps going down but excellent choice of homes
Really poor service we went there to search a property and consulted a person over there but they never called us called the one twice but he just said I am working on it I can show you some properties but I have called you never contacted us it was really poor service I really don’t like this behaviour
I called several times over last few days to book an appointment for viewing a property, disappointingly no answer.
Absolutely terrible estate agents – completely unprofessional and a total waste of time. They dragged me along for 8 months, and now they say it might take another 3–4 months to complete a property purchase. Throughout the process, I kept asking for updates. Every time, they reassured me: “The seller knows what he wants, he’s a cash buyer, everything will move quickly.” After 8–9 months, their final response was: “We know as much as you know.” Seriously? What exactly have you been doing all this time? I’ve wasted over £2,000 because of their incompetence – more than £1,000 on a survey, nearly £1,000 to cancel with the solicitor, plus over £200 for an electricity certificate. All the while, I repeatedly asked them: “Are you sure this is going ahead? Have you spoken to the seller? Should I spend this money?” Not once did they give me an honest or useful answer. Now, after 9 months, I may have to pull out entirely. And instead of addressing the issue, they got offended when I questioned them – even telling me not to “raise my voice,” when in reality I was only asking direct, serious questions. They behaved more like children than professionals. Avoid at all costs. These estate agents are a complete disaster.
Terrible service. Valued a property for my mother and it was evident the valuer was either underqualified or tried to low ball to secure an easy sale. My opinion it was the latter. The property eventually sold for 20% more than what your agent wanted to market it at.
