The team were friendly, professional and always very easy to deal with. Communication was excellent and I was kept informed throughout the sale, which made the whole process much easier and helped everything progress smoothly. I was also very pleased with the way my property was marketed, including the photographs and description, and with the way viewings and the eventual sale were handled. I cannot recommend Willow Green highly enough. All the staff are helpful and professional but also went above and beyond, with help getting in tradesmen as well as organizing and sorting out last minute snags. I wasn't always the easiest to get hold of by phone but they communicated promptly by text, portal and email, as well as helping getting documentation to the solicitor and buyer. We sold our much loved family home through Willowgreen. As it was a long time since we previously moved they really helped walk us through the process from initial contact and preparation of the particulars through to final completion. They even offered guidance on our purchase even though not through themselves. Our queries were handled swiftly and when we had a couple of glitches they were effectively resolved. A little perspective I felt compelled to leave a review after reading a duplicated very negative comment because having seen first-hand how Willowgreen operate, the picture being presented simply doesn't reflect the team I know. Willowgreen are an exceptionally hardworking, professional and genuinely caring estate agency. The people who work there put an enormous amount of time, patience and effort into helping their clients, often dealing with incredibly stressful and complicated situations that are entirely outside of their control. What particularly strikes me about the recent review is the suggestion that the agent was responsible for an entire family's experience and, incredibly, that the process “nearly cost” the sellers their marriage. Buying or selling a house can undoubtedly be stressful. Chains collapse, valuations don't meet expectations, solicitors have delays, buyers change their minds and personal circumstances can become extremely complicated. Estate agents are often right in the middle of all of it, trying to keep everyone moving in the same direction. But an estate agent cannot control every part of a transaction, and they certainly cannot reasonably be held responsible for the breakdown of a relationship or the personal circumstances surrounding a sale. What they can control is how they behave, how hard they work and how professionally they deal with people. From everything I have seen, Willowgreen do that exceptionally well. I have seen how much this team cares about the people they work with. They are patient, responsive, hardworking and prepared to go far beyond what is strictly required of them to try to get a sale over the line. They also have to deal with difficult conversations and extremely challenging situations while remaining professional, even when that professionalism isn't necessarily reciprocated. The sheer number of positive reviews from buyers, sellers and tenants describing the same qualities isn't insignificant. People repeatedly mention the team's kindness, communication, support, determination and willingness to go the extra mile. That consistency says considerably more about an estate agent than one or two highly emotive accounts. I think it's also worth remembering that there are real people behind these businesses. Staff shouldn't have to become the emotional punching bag for the stresses surrounding somebody else's house sale. Willowgreen have earned their excellent reputation through the way they consistently treat their clients, and I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending them. Five stars from me. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Thanks to Willowgreen we have just moved in to our first home! The team have been incredible over the last 6 months through a very complicated sale with many challenges. As first time buyers, they couldn't have been more patient, friendly, helpful and supportive! Special mention for Beverly who went above and beyond for us, kept us on track, and helped us with her sage advice and wisdom! I couldn’t be happier with my experience selling my home through Willowgreen Estate Agents. After only making two appointments with two Estate Agents. Lisa the owner of Willowgreen was delighted with my property and couldn’t have been more complementary and was completely honest with me, with what she thought I would get for my house and what we should put the property on the market for. I had heard from other people that Willowgreen overpriced certain houses, not in my case. I finally received £35k more than what the other Agent advised! Selling a house can be daunting, but Ted and the rest of the team at Willowgreen made the journey seamless. Ted went above and beyond with his proactive, communication, photos, and brilliant handling of potential buyers. In my case, my house sold on the first day of viewing after being advertised for one day!! I moved from North Yorkshire to East Yorkshire, therefore did not require Willowgreen’ s services to purchase my new property. I would 100% recommend Willowgreen to anyone, which I have!

Lisa and her team and amazing, from selling our property and then purchasing our new home, theirs nothing this team won’t do to ensure you have a smooth process. We saw our now home and immediately offered but our house wasn’t on the market, Francesca came straight round gave us advice and two days later had been to take photographs of our property, our house had hit the open market that night as she worked late into the night! She then called the following day with an interested buyer to come view our property that afternoon and they offered on our home. Francesca had worked through the night taking the job home with her to get the sale agreed and went above and beyond for us and we can’t thank her enough. Her detailing is exceptional. Communication was amazing and even handy they have a premises in the heart of Malton to be able to pop in for them to answer and questions we had.
