We sold our house and purchased a house through Lovelle at North Hykeham and was more than happy with the whole experience. They have a fantastic team and always kept us informed as to what was going on with the sale and purchase which made things a lot easier and less stressful. They answered all our questions professionally and efficiently. We would recommend Lovelle, North Hykeham to anyone.

As a seller I have found Lovelle on the forum at North Hykeham to be extremely poor, especially with lack of communication as they promised to update us fortnightly and never did. I had to make all the contact and chasing up myself. Emails went unanswered halfway through a conversation with them etc etc. They have demonstrated absolutely zero sales skills over the 8 months we were with them and got us less than 10 viewings that whole time when similar properties close to us were marketed and sold within £4000 of ours so they can't say we were overpriced. This is a prime example of an agent that will advertise your property on Zoopla and Rightmove and sit back and wait for enquiries to come in rather than actually being able to demonstrate they are doing any work or anything different to try and find you a buyer. Now we've asked to come off the market, they are refusing to take the online adverts down for 28 days as per their daft contract. We are not having any more viewings, yet they insist on keeping the property advertised for a month which is just petty. If you're a seller, you'd be better off seeking out a professional and experienced no B/S agent rather than Lovelle North Hykeham. (Edit) after having to threaten a complaint to the property ombudsman they have agreed to remove our listing.

Shocking client service and communication. I am a buyer and have had 2 really poor experiences of the Hykeham office. First experience I booked to see a property. The young chap showing us around showed up late without an apology. I left him with 3 questions to come back to me on. He never did and when someone phoned me to ask how I got on I told them about the 3 questions and was promised a call back...none came so I gave up on that property. Next experience I put an offer in on a property and waited a week for a reply. In the end I had to call them again only to be told that they had had to pass my enquiry to the previous agent as I had viewed it with them. When I asked why no one had bothered to call me to let me know what was going on they didn't have an answer. If you have people interested in properties you are selling surely you do everything in your power to keep them interested but no they don't care. When I sell my property I will not entrust it to them as I have no faith in them to actually treat the potential buyers properly. My advice is please think twice about using them to sell your home.NegativeResponsiveness
