I recently worked with Lauretta on a complicated leasehold purchase whereby my clients were aiming to complete before the SDLT deadline. Lauretta was incredibly proactive throughout the transaction, assisting the seller and their solicitor in getting an external wall fire risk assessment carried out and reported on within record time as well as getting replies from Hackney Council. Location Location were great with the sale of my flat. Drew got me an offer just over asking price very quickly, after only a small number of viewings. He was also helpful with providing information for my onward purchase, providing them with confidence about the chain etc…this was very helpful. I must also do a shout out to the amazing Lauretta, the director of sales progression. If it wasn’t for her constantly chasing the solicitors and my housing management company, I’m not sure we would have completed as we were up against a very stressful deadline. Her tenacity and persistence prevented the whole chain falling through. She was also a friendly, calming presence, which was much in need at times! Lauretta and the team were absolutely amazing. We were really pushed for time getting the sale through before the change in stamp duty, but Lauretta made it happen. We faced lots of bumps due to hackney council and the banks, but we got there in the end! Would 10/10 recommend.
